M:

MC and Poldara exchanged confused glances, they both heard the shouting quite well, it was a large mansion that echoed in some places after all.

"What is she so pissed about," MC asked, "Kiara didn't even do anything, the roof was breaking apart anyway."

"I think that it might be something else," Poldara suggested, handing Eclipse an icepack for his head, "that sounded like when Dad and Uncle MA would fight about a long-lasting grudge."

"Don't even get me started on that," Eclips grumbled, holding the icepack to his head and laying down on his pillow, "that shit was always annoying to have to listen to and not be able to do anything about it."

"But we can," Poldara said, "we can do something about Kiara and Luz. I'll go talk to Luz and you two can talk to Kiara, ok."

The two militants nodded, then Eclipse added, "Luz is in the library, she is fuming right now so be careful when you approach her so you don't accidentally get incinerated."

"Gee thanks," the special entity said sarcastically, then left for the library without another word.

C:

Kiara silently walked, she was lost in her thoughts and almost missed the door of the room from how absorbed she was. At the last minute, she felt a light tap on her cheek and retraced her steps.

The angelic entity was about to knock on the door, when it suddenly swung open, revealing MC in the doorframe.

- "Uh, I-I came to stitch Eclipse's wings." Kiara stuttered a little, making a circular motion in the air with her index." Unless he's already sleeping. If not, may I come in?"

———

In the library it looked as if there was a hurricane that entered the building, turned everything upside down, and that the chaos had frozen in time. Books lazily floated from one corner of the vestibule to the other, dust swirled in little funnels and the lamps were flickering.

To say that Luz was mad would have been a major understatement.

She paced back and forth, breathing in and out to calm her nerves. In her hands, sparks of flames ignited to later die out, then return to life once again.

However, the acrimonious quietness was disrupted, dragging the overthinker back to the real world.

Eight o'clock is ringing on the clock.

The angelic entity halted, closed her eye, and took a deep breath, then slowly exhaled by the mouth. All books returned to their shelves, all rugs quit floating in the air, the paintings, vases, and other artifacts that were scattered around obliged to their spots. The dust piles self-disposed and the room was reduced to silence yet again. Luz sagged to the floor and stay there, eyes closed.

Sensing Poldara's energy entering the library, she stiffened but remained seated, pretending to be intensely focused on meditation.

M:

Poldara was actually quietly watching from the doorway for a short moment before he entered, long enough to be glad that Luz cleaned up after herself, he didn't know how he would have explained any of that to his dad.

he carefully approached, not making any sudden movements and potentially startling Luz, he simply sat down next to her but kept a respectful distance.

"Do you want to talk about it," he asked, worry in his voice.

-----

"Nah, you can come in," MC said, stepping aside for her, "Mr. Crash-Landing is just being put on ice, though with how hot-headed he is I'm surprised that he didn't melt it yet."
