Not having time to disagree, she painfully watched as Poldara bravely barged out of their hiding spot. Still and all, she wasn't about to let her friend die in an attempt to protect her. If she was able to reach the mansion in time, she could bring reinforcements, get help. Cherry fixed her gaze on the Great Pyrenees.

-"Let's go girl, Poldara is counting on us." She breathed before both child and dog darted through the dense vegetation.

They were not even halfway through the forest when she sensed an impostor's presence. "Keep running, Keep running"Cherry repeated to herself.

-"Hmm it's odd that only two out of three were present back there...where could the last one be?" Cherry muttered, it was fishy. She probably shouldn't have said that.

-"UP HERE, D A R L I N G!" A voice boomed from above. The angelic entity yanked Cherry by the back of her coat, rising the girl's feet off the ground and bringing her higher and higher in the air. Akita emitted a growl, she jumped, but couldn't bite the smoke-made entity.

-"Look what we have here ... A CHILD!" Umbra scoffed as she tore away the mask the teen was wearing and with a swift smack of her hand she took off the hood from the other's head. "My my, they really do be getting desperate if they send toddlers like you out here" She snickered.

-"Nobody sent me! I came here by my own will"Cherry snapped, her voice quivery.

-"OUH, Self-proclaimed soldier, are we? Little girl, Little girl, haven't you heard? Everyone who roamed these woods never made their way home in one piece~" She susurrated, telekinetically squeezing Cherry's torso and making her gasp as pressure was applied to her ribcage.

Her right arm was squished along with her body. She heard Akita barking beneath her.

"Come on Red, you can do it." She told herself to regain confidence.

Cherry's free arm reached the lower part of the coat. She brandished the knife and stabbed her opponent.

-"HAHA, WELL THAT TICKLES" Umbra giggled immaturely, throwing the weapon away. "You still want to fight, little girl?" She evilly grinned as her sharp claws scratched Cherry's cheek, and left a slash at the level of her stomach, digging deep into her flesh but not yet perforating any vital organs. The teenager screamed in pain.

Gunshots.

-"POLDARA!" Cherry screeched at the top of her lungs, blood gushing out of the fresh cut. Nonetheless, she wiggled and wriggled. "LET ME GO, YOU PSYCHOTIC WITCH! OR ELSE I-"

-"Or else what? I'd like to see you try, foolish human offspring" Umbra continued to laugh, unfazed by the poorly formulated threat. However, her facial expression changed into a surprised one when she heard a click.

Pepper spray. The entity instantly released Cherry, letting her tumble down.

-"YoU LiTtLe P E S T!"Umbra howled in acrimony, frantically whipping her eyes.

Akita quickly pulled the wounded child on her back, and when she felt that the teen has firmly attached her hands to her neck, she sprinted away. The ghastly figure didn't bother to chase after them, eclipsed itself to retreat to the castle. Akita ran, she passed houses, shops, bars, people stared in utter confusion at the white ball of fur that bolted past them faster than lightning. They finally arrived at the doorstep of the estate, Cherry brought all the strength she had to shout for the mansion's inhabitants, after which her mind plunged into darkness.

Poldara was weaving all over the place in the sky, trying his hardest to stay out of Prussia's reach and Ussr's line of fire. On the ground, the entity had a hard time getting around but in the air, he was next to unstoppable, he was more athletic and nimble than his parents and uncle, and he was a much more active flyer than his dads, Mandara especially.
