M:
MA was leading Luz to the library, they mostly walked in silence the whole way and when they arrived they were surprised to see MC there, staring out of one of the large windows.
"MC, what are you doing in here?" MA asked.
"What does it look like I'm doin'," MC responded, holding up a book, "I didn't think y'all would be awake so I decided to come here and check out what y'all have in terms of readin' material," he turned back to look out the window, "but then I saw somethin' movin' outside and came over to see, little Fruit Pebbles and the gal with anger management issues is out flower pickin' and I don't know why."
"Cherry wanted to make a memorial for Hatter so she went to pick some peonies since those were apparently his favorite," MA explained, coming over to look too, "I wonder why Kiara is out there instead of Poldara, and where he might be too?"
-----
Poldara was actually still in the living room, he had given half the potion to Chandeler like Kiara instructed and made a little nest out of a blanket and wrapped the tired entity in it so he could rest.
As he sat there holding Chandeler, all Poldara could think about was Hatter and how close a bond he had with Chandeler, both figuratively and literally.
"Where are you now Hatter," he asked out loud, "are you still in limbo, or have you found your way to the great beyond now? We all miss you and your passing has taken a toll on all of us."
Poldara suddenly had an idea, he remembered skimming over something in Hatter's journal about a message spell and he wondered if it would work for this situation. He took out the book and found the right page, he held out one hand palm up and said the incantation.
"Distance too far,
I wish to send,
a message to,
a faraway friend."
A little green glow formed in his hand and a piece of paper appeared with a quill that looked like one of his feathers. Poldara read what to do next and when he spoke the quill would write down his words,
"Hey Hatter, I don't know if you will ever get this, but if you do, know that we all miss you so much. Cherry is outside in the garden as I am sending this picking flowers for you. We almost lost Chandeler since your entity line with him was broken, but I made a new one with him and I swear on my wings that I will take care of him for you, as well as Cherry. If there is any possible chance that you can come back then please take it, because there are a lot of people here waiting for you. Sincerely, Poldara."
Once Poldara said the last words, the magic letter rolled itself up into a scroll, the entity then felt a warm feeling in his chest and a green orb exited from it. It glowed brightly and morphed into a tiny green snow leopard, which according to the book, was his familiar. Without hesitation, the leopard took the scroll in its mouth and disappeared, taking the letter to Hatter.

Chandeler got drowsy, his eyelid were becoming heavy and he yawned a little. The abrupt change between the drainage and the sudden gain of vital energy destabilized the tiny entity. He snuggled in the comfy blanket and sleepily peeked out to watch as Poldara performed the spell.
He no longer felt Hatter's essence and it bothered him. Last time the magic man managed to hack the system in order to avoid imminent death, but that sadly didn't work this time as it appeared. Would his owner ever return? Was he truly forever gone? Those thoughts weren't what importunated him the most at that moment. He was more concerned about how everyone else would cope with Hatter's passing. He was softly snoring when the girls barged in.
