Tim was the first to dash into the unknown grounds as soon as the metal curtain lifted, he ran to the left, only to discover multiple maze trails, after which he quickly returned to the others before he could manage getting lost.

Cherry had both of her hands on the blaster, with the use of the small light ray coming from it she scanned the walls and passages of the laser tag arena.

-"Oh crap I forgot to ask if there were mirrors here, I'll try not to run into any." She sighed, speaking in a hushed tone as if the opposite team could possibly hear her. "What do you guys think, should we continue walking together or do we split up here?"

M:

"I say we split up," Poldara said, "you and I will hug the outer wall and make our way to the flag, the rest of you spread out and keep the reds as far away from their corner as possible."

With that, Poldara and Cherry ran off while the others got into position, Eclipse sticking close to Tim so he wouldn't get lost.

The red team had a different tactic, they spread out so they made a defensive wall around their flag, but not too close to be disqualified.

C:

All soldiers were in position, on a standstill as they guarded their precious loot, breathing was allowed but only too loudly so as to not give away their strategy to the enemy.

-"Ugh, what in the highest flying fuck is this?! This game is called 'Capture the Flag', and just what are we doing? The complete opposite! How are we supposed to win if we stay on the defensive throughout the game." Kiara huffed.

-"Oh keep quiet will you," Luz whispered back, furtively glancing at the base.

It was somewhat visible from the intersection they both occupied and she could see a small glimpse of their flag, hanging rather limply with no air to make it float.

"They never said we couldn't try to make a run for it; we had agreed that as long as there are at least two people on guard we can venture into the blue's zone."

The woman stopped talking and her head perked up as she listened.

-"What is it-" Kiara furrowed her brows, now alert and listening hard.

Luz put a finger to her lips, then motioned for her sibling to stay where she was.

She paused to sniff the air and a wide grin spread on her face, with her blaster raised and her only eye glowing in the dark she said: -"I smell children~"

-"Okay, where ?" Kiara strutted forward into a path, unimpressed by the creepy show-off.

-"Five, maybe six meters to the North-west from here."

-"Cool, in that case, I wanna get to the higher ground." The other hummed and as she said so found a ramp leading upwards. "Bingo!"

A similar idea had struck Hatter's mind and had climbed up in a structure from which a window-like hole gave him an overview of one of the red's sides of the base and coincidentally it gave away where some of the other team members stood.

From his hideout Hatter aimed at MC's shoulder plate and fired, after that, he quickly retreated into the shadows.

M:

MC jumped as his armor made the dying noise, not at all expecting to be hit at that moment, though he acted quickly and rushed back to the flag to reactivate his gun.

Mandara and MA felt the vibrations of MC's armor going off and they came up with a silent plan; MA would meet up with MC and the two militants would continue to guard the flag, and Mandara would grab the girls and go on the offense.
