Kiara glowered, sneering as a dark mist formed around her eye, well ... Umbra's eye. By clawing the eyepatch away, MA accidentally left a scratch that began to bleed light. She wasn't fully out of air when the infuriated militant shoved her against the wall, so she propulsed him in return, not hard enough to hit and demolish the opposite wall, but enough to keep him at a distance. Luz sobbed and pleaded for her other self to stop, but Kiara did not heed her words.
-"Guys cut it out!" The male angelic entity shouted, yet no one listened. "Stop it! We are not here to f-" A blast and he got knocked off his feet. What about that promise they made? What about it?!?!
Umbra and MA were probably ready to spill blood. Again.
Hatter's vision darkened as contradictory emotions and screams could be heard and felt inside his mind. He couldn't ignore them, he could not silence them. It was as if a nightmarish loop occurred, he did not want the same scenario to happen all over again.
Maybe this time it was easier for him since his body learned to absorb such sentiments, Hatter appeared between the two within a blink, half of his body enveloped in red smoke. A horn popped on his head and his left sclera, normally of a soft blue hue, was darker than coal. His pupils were thin as slits. Sharply breathing, he stood between the two as he did during the battle for the world's sake. Only this time the man did not shield anyone in particular, he planted his feet on the ground firmly, arms stretched to maintain the two furious entities at a distance.
-"I said, STOP" Hatter's voice tumbled, cavernous, filled with static. It was cold and irrefutable, almost as if it did not belong to him. As if on command, both entities suddenly froze into place, only able to glare at each other and growl.
Hatter breathed in and out, his temples thumped, his head throbbed from the overload of information. His gaze shifted around the room but saw nothing but red blurs.
'Stay awake ... stay awake ... or you'll become your own worst enemy.'
-"I am. FUCKING. DONE with your attitude! There is a reason why we keep our tongues behind our teeth, Kiara." He shouted at the other angelic entity. "I did not bring you both with me so you could stir up more trouble."
Hopefully MC and Cherry both were deeply asleep at the moment and were not disturbed by all the ruckus the others made in the common room.
The magic man tried his best not to let his anger overcome him and not to succumb to his dark side. It was already enough burdens to take care of and he was exhausted from it all. Exhausted from being alive.
-"We did not resemble ourselves in this room to fight. So you both better CALM DOWN before I need to go feral or so help me!" Hatter concluded, he trembled from the outbursts of acrimony that gushed along with adrenaline up to his head.
A doppelgänger of his magically materialized to cover the enraged militant entity's eyes. He did not yet release MA and Umbra from his spell, waiting for them to settle down.
Hatter let out a whimper, his head aching even more.
M:
MA didn't relax like he normally did when his eyes were covered, he instead growled louder and was doing everything in his power to break free of Hatter's spell. Mandara felt his chest hurting and he gazed in horror at MA.
"Hatter, whatever you do, don't let that spell-," he started to say, but was cut off by what sounded like glass cracking. Since Hatter was so focused on not losing his mind, his spell was too weak to contain MA, and an invisible box surrounding him started developing glowing red cracks, allowing the militant to move his upper body and bite down on the Hatter double's hand.
