Cherry took off her hoodie and used it as a blanket for the tiny entity. Chandeler snuggled into it, his chest raising up and down as he softly breathed. The teen sat down, gazing into the distance without fixating on anything in particular, she was simply lost in her thoughts. Music usually helped her to calm down, to clear her mind. Sadly she forgot to bring her phone and earphones... there was no internet connection there anyway so it wouldn't have worked.

So Cherry started humming. It was a song, or rather a poem that did not truly rhyme or make any sense, it was pulled out of her imagination within five minutes. The girl closed her eyes. She was so absorbed, she wasn't aware that her humming turned into singing aloud.

-"The stars are shining brightly, You are somewhere there smiling

Please don't weep and wipe your tears away~

Dear ! oh my lovely dear! You're my precious dear!

Everything will be alright~

You're forever in my heart, Even if we're miles apart

And no matter where you're at, Roses bloom and the sun shines~

Dear ! oh my lovely dear! You're so special dear

Please don't worry we'll be fine~

Soon the stars all will align, And another day would begin for us.."

Teardrops cornered her lashes, she blinked them away. She sometimes wished her emotions drowned, but she was the one drowning instead ... unable to express everything on her mind.

Luz rubbed Hatter's back in circular clockwise motions. Kiara on the other hand was angrily kicking empty Campbell Soup cans, and trashing even more the already broken objects found in the enormous dumpster.

-"Unbelievable, Luz how can you be so soft with people, I ... I don't understand you sometimes I swear." The other entity halve muttered, crushing a lightbulb under her boot. She tried to blow the hair bangs that intruded her eyesight, but they kept falling back.

Kiara let out an irked groan.

-"Cannot find my damn hairclip!" She complained, shaking her arms. There were mountains of useless trash and absolutely nothing in there resembled a hairpin.

Luz looked up at her other halve and sighed.

-"You can have mine if you want-" she began.

-"Noooo! I want my own." Kiara plopped down and frustratedly began to cry. "I fanh ho vo zaaaays!" (I want to go baaaack!)

Luz shook her head. She stood up, brought Kiara to the same spot where Hatter was and all three sat down, Luz being the one to comfort the two crying angelic entities. She took the stone from Hatter's coat pocket and inspected it. It seemed to be like any other gem. She rubbed it again, hoping it would bring them somewhere else. It didn't. There was no glow or cloud of sparkles. Their only way out would've been through a portal, yet all magic was still unusable. They had to wait.

The song echoed across the surface of the water and bounced off the walls of the sinkhole, so Poldara and Ora heard every word. They really wanted to go comfort her but they knew they had to keep working on the runes if they wanted to bring back Hatter, so they continued to silently work as they listened to Cherry's song.

MA was flying towards the castle ruins to check on Poldara and Cherry for Mandara, he was certain they were fine but he knew that his brother would worry himself sick over those two if he didn't know how they were, he never truly escaped the nervous wreck first-time parent phase.
