Kiara hummed and nodded as the explanations were given, now that the topic was brought up in more detail everything clarified itself.

-" Not only hard to kill, but also you don't really know the limits to your bodies and you never know exactly how many hits, bullets or slashes it would take to end another country's life." She muttered more to herself than to anybody else.

At MC's intervention, she shook her head.

-"Oh that, never mind it. I just misinterpreted what Poldara first said about corpses not rotting and it made me think this dimension was also one of those which ... you know what, just- just forget it. It doesn't matter." Kiara trailed off and hastily mumbled, waving her hands.

Cherry looked up at the tapestry with King Mandoria on it.

-"Hi," The teen shyly greeted and then whispered, "thank you for keeping us safe."

Kiara stole a quick glance at where Cherry was standing and coughed, nearly choking on her saliva. What she saw made her mind race and she truly hoped nobody else would notice.

It was a tail. A bluish ribbon that swung from side to side poked through the back of the child's dress. It was semi-transparent, and now that Kiara studied the human child more attentively, she remarked that Cherry's skin was paler than normal.

The coughing fit intensified as some dust descended from the ceiling.

Poldara and MC exchanged glances at Kiara's refusal to answer the militant's question, but the subject was momentarily forgotten when she started coughing. Poldara came closer and gently patted her back.

"Maybe you need to get a little fresh air," he suggested, "it does get pretty dusty in here after all, come on, how about you and I go see where Luz and Eclipse ran off to, MC, you can stay with Cherry and Chandeler right?"

MC nodded in agreement and hung back while Poldara took Kiara outside. He turned to Chere but since he wasn't like Kiara or Eclipse, couldn't see anything off about Cherry, he just walked up behind her and put a hand on her shoulder.

"It's a cool tapestry ain't it," he remarked, "we don't really know who made it, Mandara and MA weren't able to attend the funeral since Prussia banished them, and most of the winged countries back then are gone, but whoever made it did a pretty good job."

He walked closer and ran a careful hand over the tapestry, he was allowed to do that since he's been there before, "there's actually a legend that goes with this tapestry, we don't know who created it but it's cool all the same. It's said that the wings were made with the actual feathers of Mandoria, and on the anniversary of his death, his ghost exits from the tapestry and wanders the garden, searching for Prussia to challenge him for his title back. We don't really believe that, it's probably just something the humans invented to make a good ghost story, but it's a pretty cool myth all the same, isn't it?"

Kiara couldn't do much but nod, suppressing another cough, and followed Poldara out of the shrine.

Once outside, her functional eye took a couple of seconds to adapt to the amount of luminosity. The muffled sound of running water and the chirp of birds could be heard in the background.

The angelic lady inhaled deeply, still coughing, but now her lungs were calming down from the irritation as a gust of fresh wind blew past her and the special entity. She turned left and right, but didn't see her sister or Eclipse, they were yet to be found.

-"Where might they have gone-" She gasped between two coughs.

Cherry's eyes traveled back and forth between the arras and MC as the country spoke.
