The following morning, I woke up, gathered all my things, packed them up and put them in the car. I went back in, had breakfast with everyone, said my goodbyes with many hugs, and headed to my car. In the car I called Luka, let him know I'd be heading out and should be back by 4 pm. He sounded excited about that and told me to drive safely. He hung up, with me agreeing to call him once I'm home. The drive was uneventful. I stopped once for lunch and gas then continued. I got home a little after four, since there was minor traffic. I grabbed my things and headed in. My phone started ringing, I put my things down and grabbed my phone to answer it. Luka. "Hey Luka, I was just about to call you." He sighed, "Lily I got a bit worried." I had completely forgotten that I told him 4 pm. "I'm sorry Luka, I had stopped for lunch and gas and there was a bit of traffic." He chuckled, "It's ok pretty lady, I just got worried a bit it's alright cause you're good." I giggled, "Soooo... when will I get my hug?" He laughed, "You name the place. I'm finishing up at the office now and will be free in about thirty minutes. You let me know when and where and I'll be there." I didn't want to go anywhere though, I wanted to stay in tonight. But was I ready to let him in my home? We're just friends right? Well ugh, it's complicated. But he had shown nothing but his genuine interest. "Lily, you there?" I didn't realize how long I stood in thought and I didn't answer yet. "Yes, sorry. But Luka can we stay in? Maybe order take out, watch a movie and just hang in?" I impatiently waited for his response. "Of course, my place or yours?" I debated, "Mine. I'll text you my address." I was smiling too hard. "Perfect. Text me the time as well. See you soon." After hanging up I sent him my address and told him 6 pm.

At 6 pm on the dot, I heard a knock on my door. I chose to look decently cute, nothing exotic but nothing too boring. I chose a loose T-shirt dress with my converse. I put my hair up in a cute messy bun and left a few curls hanging out. Once I had opened the door, he stood there just staring at me. "Wow..." I knew my cheeks must have turned red. He was just staring at me from head to toe. "You look beautiful Lily." I giggled out of nervousness. "Thank you." It was almost a whisper. "Come in." I held the door wider so he could go in. "What did you want to order?" I wasn't picky so I didn't really care. "How about Chinese?" He asked. "That sounds good." I told him what I wanted and he called. We chose a movie to watch and agreed to start watching it when the food arrives. A good twenty minutes went by setting up for our movie night. Then he asked, "So, Lily. Did you want that hug now?" Then winked at me with a smirk. I nodded and he went towards me wrapping his arms around me. I breathed him in and wrapped my hands around him, well tried. My hands didn't meet, but the hug was perfect regardless. The effects this man had on me were ridiculous and all we were at the time were friends. His hug was like a breath of fresh air. Again the light to my darkness. "Luka.." All I heard was a small, "Hmm?" It was as if I was in a battle with myself. As if I knew I wanted to tell him that I want to be more than friends. But I knew I was still so broken. Afraid I'd ruin it all for us. "You ok Lily?" He started pulling away but I held on tighter. "I want to talk to you Luka... But I'm scared." He held me, "Lily there shouldn't be anything you should be scared of. I told you I'm here." I sighed, "But it's you Luka. About you and I'm scared I'd screw up. I'm scared that I'm too broken and I'd lose you..." I felt myself getting emotional so I stopped speaking. He noticed I wasn't going to speak anymore and backed up enough to still hold me but look right at my face. One arm wrapped around my waist and the other he used to put my chin up. He said nothing, then suddenly he kissed me.
