Mom and dad didn't complain when I said Luka would be sleeping with me. I was surprised but being that I was 20 no longer living in their household, maybe they finally see me for the adult I had become. "Love, did you want to shower first? Then we can cuddle and watch something til we both fall asleep?" I nodded. Grabbed my things and gave him a small kiss. "I'll be back in a few."

I got back and he went to shower. While I waited for him there was a knock at the door. "Come in." I waited for them to come in and it was Yaz. "Hey." I smiled, "Hey. What's up?" She smiled back, "Nothing much. Just wanted to say I'm happy for you. That you've moved on. You look so much happier now Leena. Tomorrow shouldn't be too horrible. I know mom wants you to talk to Paola. And I know you probably don't. But see if Tia will give you some information. But so much has happened Leena..." She looked away. I knew she wanted to tell me more but it was not her place to share. I nodded. "Thank you, I'll talk to Tia." She smiled, nodded and got up to leave the room. "Thank you Yaz. For always noticing the differences in me. It does mean a lot." She looked back, smiled and nodded.

A few minutes after she left the room Luka came in. "Hey there beautiful." I blushed. "Hi." He put his things down and came to the bed with me. "Luka?" I looked up at him since I was laying on him. "Hmm?" He looked down. "Somethings going on that no one feels it's ok to speak about. They insist on me talking to Tia since they know I'm not comfortable speaking to Paola yet." He looked at me questionably. "What do you mean?" I sighed, "Well when I was helping mom I asked if they'd be coming, you know so I can be ready for anything that comes up. She said yes but then I asked if Jacob would be coming since the last time he did not. But that's when she said I should talk to Tia. But no he isn't coming. Which I was happy about. Then Yaz came into the room while you showered and told me a lot has been going on that I don't know. And that I should see if Tia would give me a quick explanation." He was quiet for a few. "Maybe you should talk to your Tia. Then that'll determine if you should talk to Paola." I looked at him crazy. Because I was not ready to talk to her. "I know it sounds crazy but love what if it's something serious? Regardless, she's always been your best friend. And some things aren't easy to ignore about someone you've always cared about." I nodded but didn't say a word. He picked some movie on Netflix and we cuddled. I fell asleep that night with my head on his chest.
