I did not expect Luka to defend me like that. Any doubt that I ever got had disappeared. I had officially fallen in love with Luka. That evening we went out for dinner at this really nice restaurant. While there I started feeling really weird. But I didn't tell Luka anything. We were sitting when he randomly spoke. "I'm really sorry, pretty lady. I should have never said that I wasn't Jacob. I know you know that, but I was hurt." I gave him a small smile. "It's ok Luka, honestly we both acted out of instinct. We will get better at all this." He smiled at me and the waiter came. He had taken our orders. I only ordered a salad because I wasn't feeling all that great.

"Hey, so I have less than a week to decide if I want to go to my parents for Christmas. But I don't want to be away from you. So I was thinking of just staying home." He chuckled, "Or we can both go if you'd like." My eyes had widened so much he started laughing hard. So hard people were staring at us. "You'd go? Like you do know you'd be meeting the parents right?" He nodded proudly, "I don't plan on just leaving so that means I'd have to meet my in-laws." I laughed, "But what about your parents?" He took a sip of his drink then spoke, "They travel for Christmas every year. Even when I was small we were always somewhere different each Christmas. But once I became an adult I had a choice. Sometimes, I'd go and others I'd hang with Jake and his family." He smiled, "Jake has a little girl, she's a year and a half. But I would love to spend this Christmas with my love." He smiled and winked. "We can go and bring her gifts when we get back." He nodded and I smiled but it didn't last long when I started feeling weird again. I drank some of my water and continued. It was for sure, we'll be with my parents for Christmas.

The week had flown by pretty quickly. Nothing extreme happened. I just worked and hung with Luka. I was still feeling under the weather. Luka started noticing and said if things get worse, he would be taking me to the hospital. I agreed and started packing. After we were all set up to start the drive to my parents, I double checked everything. Made sure doors and windows were locked, nothing was left plugged in and all that good stuff. And the drive began.
