I Trusted You

Chapter 7.

The following morning, I was woken up to Jacobs voice and his hands shaking me a bit. I groaned, " Five more minutes!" I hear him laugh but he continues to shake me. "Come on butterfly, if we want to spend this weekend together and not waste it. Wake up!" He's really acting as if I wasn't in a foul mood last night. It is what it is. It isn't like he'll be here forever so I decided to get up. I stomped my way into the bathroom and closed the door before he could even get close. I did my morning routine and went and threw something casual on. I went into the kitchen and Paola and Jacob were having coffee. " Good morning." I said to both and went for a cup of coffee. "What are today's plans?" Asked Paola. "Well what would you guys want to do?" I looked at them both. "Are there any parks with trails around here? Maybe we can have a picnic and walk the trails." Jacob said. I looked at him, "I'm not sure, I can always google it." And that's what I did. I found a park that's 10 minutes away. We prepared everything we needed and all went in Jacob's car. The day went smoothly and we had a good time. Even if it isn't what i expected it is giving me comfort from home. It's something I didn't know I needed. After our walk and picnic we went for some ice cream, and stopped at a hibachi and had some dinner. We then made our way back to my house to hang out for a bit before bed.

When we got home about an hour in, Paola suggested we go out to a bar. Jacob agreed and they begged me to go knowing I wasn't one to really like a bar scene. But because they leave tomorrow I said screw it and decided to go. We all got ready, I wore some high waisted wide leg pants with a cute crop top. I had put half my hair up and left the rest down. When we were all ready we grabbed our things and headed out. We found this pretty cool bar twenty minutes away from my home. They immediately got themselves a drink and some shots. I took only one shot and got one drink I can linger with for the night. We were all dancing around with each other and I excused myself to go to the ladies room. Coming back I saw Paola getting really close to Jacob as she swayed her bottom. She lightly brushed him and he just watched her do it. Before I could see anything else I walked away and went outside for some air. Maybe it was an accident, maybe I was just seeing things. She wouldn't do that to me. No. Maybe he told her she got too close after I turned away. Taking deep breaths and so deep in my thoughts I didn't notice the man coming my direction. "Hey there beautiful, how are you?" I looked at him but I couldn't see his face clearly because of the tears sitting in my eyes. "I'm ok. Thanks." I try to walk away and he grabs my arm, "Where are you going?" I started getting nervous, "Just back inside with my boyfriend and friend." I try to pull my arm away but his grip is strong. He pulls me to him and starts kissing me. I couldn't scream, it was as if my body froze in shock and I cried silently. I finally got out of the shock and pushed him as hard as I could and ran back inside. I searched for Paola and Jacob and couldn't find them anywhere with how many people there all of a sudden was. I bumped into someone and tripped but someone else caught me. "Hey are you ok?" I flinched and tried getting away. "Hey, hey, hey hold on before you fall again. My names Luke, I'm just trying to help you." It's a guy. All of a sudden I hear Jacob, "Let go of my girlfriend!" And I'm being yanked. I couldn't speak, I just looked at the guy with sad eyes and turned away. I pulled away from Jacob and walked out of the bar crying.

"Leena! Leena babe stop!" I don't stop until I get to the car. He runs up beside me, "Hey what's wrong? What happened back there? Why was that guy holding you up? " I continued to cry, "I looked for you Jacob after the bathroom." It got completely silent. I saw Paola walking towards the car. "I went outside for some air. And some guy forcefully kissed me until I was able to push him off Jacob! I went and looked for you again and you were nowhere in sight! I bumped into someone and lost my balance and that Luke guy saved me from hitting the ground." It was silent. Paola looks at us both but says nothing. I assumed she heard some of our conversation. Jacob also didn't say a word. "You two go finish having fun I'll sit and wait in the car." I went and sat in the car.
