Jasleena has always meant the world to me. The minute I laid eyes on her the night at the bar, it's like I knew she'd be mine one day. It was like an instant connection. I was so upset when her so-called boyfriend pulled her from me. When all I was doing was making sure she didn't hit the ground. She was distant in the beginning but never did she ever tell me to leave her alone. Her soul is so pure and that so-called boyfriend really tore her apart. I wish I would've punched him that night. But then my Lily would've hated me. I don't even know where I got Lily from. When I would look at her she would remind me of a blooming flower. A beauty for sure. I've loved her since that night. I hoped and prayed I'd bump into her again. And I sure did the following morning. She bumped into me again. When she looked up after apologizing, my heart broke. Her eyes were puffy, from crying I assumed. She looked so lost and broken, it hit my heart very differently. It was definitely a rollercoaster to finally get her to trust me and give me a chance to show her I can be who and what she needed.

The need in me to love and protect her was so strong. That's why I was so hurt when she doubted me the day Britteney thought it was cool to call Lily. I understood it minorly, but it still really bothered me. Because never did I ever give her any reason to believe that. But then with everything her ex and so called best friend pulled on her, I'd be afraid too. The morning that I went into the office to check my security cameras that I had set up in my office, was the morning I chose to let Lily see what I'd do to someone who has ill intentions towards her. After I had seen the footage myself, I called my best friend, Jake and explained what had happened. He also worked for my parents and when it's time for me to step up technically he would be working for me. He had come to my office and saw the footage as well. Britteney was my assistant, she always wanted my attention. But never did I ever give her more than a casual conversation. I called Lily and asked her to come to my office. I told Jake to stay on stand by when I call him. I get a call from the front desk questioning me about Lily. A few minutes later Lily knocks then comes in. I came around my desk and kissed her lightly. Grabbed her hand gently and guided her to my chair. I sat her down and pressed play. She watched it silently and when it was over she just sat there. After a few long seconds she spoke, "I'm so sorry." It was so low, if I weren't paying attention to her I wouldn't have heard her. I turned my desk chair towards me and I knelt down and looked right at her face. She was crying. I wiped her tears, "I know, but it's ok I promise. Yes I was hurt, but I also understood." I kissed her forehead. "I'm going to call Jake up, he's my best friend. He's also going to bring Britteney up as well. Their offices are just below my floor. So it won't take long. But I want you to be here as I approach her about the situation." She only nodded.
