Jasleena
A good two months had gone by. Growing and glowing. I felt so much better. I did not throw up at all anymore, which was amazing. Luka was the sweetest anything and everything I needed he got or did it for me. He made sure I ate and kept hydrated. His excitement was adorable. Like a child with a brand new lollipop. It's been nice though. My family visited again twice. Not really for me though. Mom would hang with Lukas mom and dad with Lukas dad. Thankfully my sisters came one of times so we had girls night. Snacks, movies and games.
So far there was no luck with finding a home for us. I felt like Luka was looking for something specific and wasn't finding it. I honestly didn't mind what kind of home it was. I just wanted somewhere to call our own and we would fit our family well. Even if we started small and went bigger with time. I just wanted to be situated by the time the baby arrived and I wasn't really sure we would be.
There I was googling ideas on how to ask people to be a baby's Godparent. I wanted to do something memorable. I wanted them to feel how special they were to us and how special they'll become to Lila once she's born. Lila has so many that love her already. I continued to scroll for ideas. Then came an idea. 'Why don't I just combined a few?' I thought to myself. And then I found an idea and couldn't wait to get the mini project done. It would be a surprise to everyone. The same way no one wants to tell me a thing about the baby shower. I rolled my eyes just thinking about it.
Work was actually pretty good. The school year ended this past week. So I had the summer off. Which was great because I was only continuing to grow and with growing bigger I grew more tired. I was thinking about talking to Luka about work. I was due for August nineteenth which is the week after school began again. I was thinking of not returning until the new year. I wanted to enjoy my baby's first few months before returning to work. I wanted to breastfeed my baby and working would make that hard. I hoped he wouldn't mind. I thankfully have paid maternity leave but only for 6 weeks. It would only cover until September twenty fifth. Which is nothing but I could have saved all that money, to help for a little longer. I would just talk to him and see his opinion.
