Jasleena

A week has gone by and we were out at a fancy restaurant with his parents. He thought it would be best if we spoke to them in person about the choice of us moving in together. Luka wanted to buy a house with four bedrooms. A house that wasn't huge but it wouldn't be too small for a growing family. So I hoped they would understand and support us. I would still work and would find a great nanny for Lila. Luka was thinking about the head maid of his parents house. Since she practically raised him. She was the one who watched him every time his parents went on business trips. He bragged about how great she was. So I agreed to talk to her with him about Lila.

"Mom, Dad. So I was thinking to myself and later spoke to Jasleena about our plans for when Lila comes" They both simply looked at him but neither spoke. So he continued. "I'm planning to buy a house. I want to grow and learn. I want to have a place to call mine with my girlfriend and daughter. I want to have a place my daughter can have for herself when she's older. I want to have enough space if we decide to have more kids." His parents just looked at him as he spoke. "I want to come home everyday to my girlfriend and daughter. I want to see everything Lila does or learns." His mom finally showed a reaction. She had tears coming down her face. "I am so proud of you son." His father finally spoke up. "Whatever you decide to do, we support you." And that was one of the best things to hear. I had tears running down my face just as much as his mother did. Those hormones were no joke.

We finished dinner and his parents paid the bill. I had left a tip at the table, I wanted to feel like I did put into something. We said our see you laters to his parents and headed home. At home we both showered and went into the bedroom. "Love, so when did you want to pick the date for the baby shower?" That was a good question. I was exactly twenty one weeks pregnant. "How about July twenty second? I would be exactly thirty six weeks. Giving us a month before I'm due." It was currently April eighth so we had some time for planning. "That sounds perfect. But it's also the weekend after your birthday. You sure you want all that activity in the same week?" I laughed. "Luka, I don't want to do anything for my birthday. I just want to stay in, with you." He chuckled. "Ok. And fyi now we can tell our mothers and they can do their planning." We both laughed knowing how our mothers would be.
