That evening we enjoyed their company. I had cooked dinner, which we sat down all together and ate. We ended up playing games and stuff for the rest of the night. It was nice. It was always nice to have some company from back home. I didn't miss home, just missed my family, Paola and her family. The following day, we went out for brunch and then to a museum. We had a great day overall. The day after we went for breakfast and then Paola and Aaron said their see you laters.
A month had gone by since Paola's visit and her news. I have been ok. Until she sent me the ultrasound of the baby. And told me she was having a baby girl as well and was super excited. She said she wasn't going to do a reveal so she just had them call her with the results. I was so happy for her because again like she said, our girls would have been able to grow together and be best friends like us. But it still hit my heart pretty hard, not being able to see another ultrasound for myself. But I brushed it all off and tried continuing life as if those things weren't bugging me.
Another month had gone by, Lila was eight months old. She was crawling and had three teeth. She continued to be the loveable, amazing little girl that she was. Her bond with Luka was the cutest thing in the world. Luka continued to show me as much love and affection as possible. We had dressed Lila so cute for Easter. Luka helped her with the mini egg hunt we had for Bell and her. It was nice doing family things, with both of our family involved. My parents were there, his parents were there, and Paola was there as well. Her belly was starting to show, it was so cute. We had a great well needed family day.
Another month had gone by. Lila turned nine months old and started standing on her own. She learned to eat table foods and loved them. Luka has been a bit more busy in the office lately. Things were ok, I guess. I still had some tough days. But mostly been ok. Paola was twenty four weeks pregnant. She constantly kept me in the loop and also asked a lot of questions. It was bittersweet. She had mentioned that she was thinking of dates for the baby shower.
