House searching is so stressful. I wanted the best house for Lily and Lila. I wanted it to be everything Lily had ever wanted. I wanted it to have a nice gated backyard where Lila would be able to run and play. I wanted it to be roomy just in case we had more kids. I wanted it to be everything for all of us. It had been two months since we told my parents. I didn't think Lily expected them to be so supportive. I understood why though. She thought just because she wasn't rich my parents would think she was around for money, not me. But I told my parents everything. Well not her personal detail and everything with Paola and Jacob. But they knew that she didn't even know who I was when she met me. That she fell for me regardless. That she doesn't ask for anything. That she even wanted to pay every time we went on dates. So when they met her they automatically loved her. And her kindness has made them love her even more.

In those two months, Lily's belly has grown some more. Lila kicks more often. She was almost thirty one weeks along. The baby shower was a little over a month away. Our mothers had been beyond excited to plan it all out. Paola had joined them as well. Lily and I had spoken about Lilas Godparents. We agreed on two Godmothers and one Godfather being that neither one of us had another male figure in our lives that wasn't already family. We agreed on Paola and Jenni being her Godmothers and Jake being her Godfather. We were planning to ask them at the baby shower.

Lily's birthday was three days before the baby shower. So I had asked our mothers to still plan something small involving her for the baby shower. Lily knows nothing of the baby shower. Our mothers had told her it would all be a surprise. Lily wasn't happy but I had convinced her otherwise. I loved that girl with every fiber in my body. Never did I ever think I would ever feel like that towards a woman. So quickly too. But everything happens for a reason.
