I was in love with Lukas. If I ever had any doubt that he didn't love me the same way it all vanished. At least for now, not that I wanted to ever feel like he didn't love me. But knowing myself, I knew I'd have times of doubts and fears. I was very lucky to ever bump into him and him continuously seeking my attention until he got it. He was definitely different and that's what I loved most about him. Such a sweet and genuine soul. He's all mine and I couldn't have been any luckier than that. Lucky to call him my boyfriend. Lucky to be pregnant. Lucky that he's the father. Lucky that he continued to think of a future involving me. No matter how much we have gone through in just this short time he has always been about me. Always showed me that he loved and cared for me. Always made sure that I knew I was the only girl he wanted.
After everything in the hospital, we cuddled until a knock was heard and in came my mother. "There we go. Things seem to be a lot better." She gave a light laugh and I smiled. "Thank you Ma." She simply nodded and smiled. "I'm going to go find out when you can leave." We both nodded and she headed out. Luka got up from the bed, kissed my forehead and then my belly. "I'm going to the restroom." I nodded and he walked off. A few minutes later mom walked back in. "They're gathering up all your paperwork to discharge you. Are you guys leaving today or tomorrow?" As she asked, Luka walked out of the bathroom. "We can stay if you'd like Lily. I've canceled everything for this weekend." I smiled and nodded. They sat around and conversed as we waited for the green light to head out. Mom was talking about what she planned to make for dinner when we heard a slight knock. In came the nurse, "Here are your discharge papers. You can get dressed once I remove the monitors." I nodded and she began. Fifteen minutes later I was being wheeled to the car. Again, they didn't allow me to walk since I came in for fainting again. Luka helped me in, went into the driver's seat and off we went to my mothers house.
