The following day being Sunday, was one of the best days we had. We finally found a house. It was a two floor three bedroom house with a large gated yard. Our room would be the master bedroom, Lila's room would be right next to ours and then the last room was across the hall near the bathroom. We were so excited we couldn't wait to finally start getting Lila's room together and have a place we could call our own. We went for the viewing that same morning and that's when Luka spoke to the realtor and told him we wanted the house. They said they'd meet with Luka on Wednesday to go through the process and how long it'll be before everything is cleared, signed and ready for us to move in, which could be a few weeks to a month. Which sucked because we really wanted to be in our home already when Lila came but everything happens for a reason. But either way we were happy.
We would be setting up the guest room for Lila temporarily, on Saturday, until we moved into our new house. We were getting ready to go to Jake's house for our Sunday dinner and game night. It was a rainy day so we were trying to head out earlier since we'd drive slower than usual. I was getting more pain than usual and just brushed it off, thinking it was nothing but Braxton hicks. "Ready to go love?" Luka asked. I nodded and grabbed my umbrella that was by the door. I opened it up and caught a bad Braxton hick. I almost fell for the amount of pain it caused me. But instead of yelling or crying I simply balanced myself and went into the car. We were almost at Jake's house when we stopped at a red light. When it turned green Luka started slowly driving. All of a sudden someone rear ended us and the car started spinning. One minute I was confused. The next I hear Luka "Lily! Lily are you ok?" I couldn't speak though. I wanted to but I couldn't. "Lily do you hear me please?" I started coughing. It smelled smokey and awful. I hear Luka dialing a number. I hear him telling them everything and about where we were last. I couldn't move. I couldn't speak. It was as if I were in complete shock. But I opened my eyes and looked around. It was all smokey everywhere. The airbags did come out. I saw my arms around my belly. I saw blood. "Lily? Lily are you ok?" I was crying. "Luka blood." That's all I was able to say. I heard the sirens. Then it was as if they were fading away instead of coming closer. "Lily! Lily stay with me come on." I heard Luka. But then nothing. No sirens. No Luka. Nothing.
