Vale Robbery

Y/N POV

Ruby opens a magazine scanning its contents.

Ruby: "I was thinking we swing by Ol' Red's Burger Stand on the way home. Then we see if we can come up with anymore upgrades for Crescent Rose."

Y/N: "I think she has plenty of upgrades. At this point she could be classified as an all in one."

She giggles. Meanwhile the door leading into the store opens. I look seeing a man in a bowler hat. I narrow my eyes finding his profile.

Y/N: "Heads up. We might be in for trouble."

She gets serious.

Ruby: "What're we dealing with?"

Y/N: "Infamous criminal Roman Torchwick."

Ruby: "I thought he got arrested."

Y/N: "He did. But reports say he got sprung while being transported to prison."

Ruby: "Figures. What're you thinking?"

Y/N: "I can cause a distraction. Meanwhile you deploy Crescent Rose and do what you do best, kick butt."

She smiles taking off her headphones. She then puts a special contact in her right eye. 

Ruby: "Ready."

I nod spreading my consciousness into a vending machine. I fire a can hitting a robber in his face. He's knocked out as the others look at me.

Roman: "What the hell?"

Y/N: "Now!!"

Ruby yells swinging Crescent Rose. A robber's chest is sliced open. They then go flying backwards into a wall. 

Y/N: "Duck."

She does. This spares her from a sword severing her head. I possess Crescent Rose activating her to stun cannon. I fire at her attacker's chest taking them down. Ruby spins Crescent Rose knocking another robber back.

Y/N: "Roman's about to fire."

She bursts into rose petals rushing towards Roman. She zips through his attack shoulder bashing him out the store window. She dives after him where she's soon surrounded by more robbers.

Y/N: "Shall we try our new move?"

Ruby: *smiles* "Let's."

I possess Crescent Rose. I then leak a substance coating Ruby's hands so to protect her. I then release a massive surge of lightning. It travels outwards electrocuting all the would be robbers. When the lightning subsides they all fall down emitting smoke.

Roman: "Not bad red."

We look to see him leaning on his cane.

Roman: "But this' where we part ways."

He fires a blast at us. I form our shield taking the hit. Putting it away we chase Roman up a fire escape. We then corner him to a ledge.

Ruby: "I've got you now Roman."

He smiles.

Roman: "Only in your dreams."

A bullhead hovers into view. Roman hops inside tipping his hat.

Roman: "So long!!"

Ruby: "He's getting away."

Y/N: "Not on my watch."

I hijack the bullhead. 

Y/N: "You're not going anywhere."

Roman: "Who the hell're you?"

I smile making the bullhead shake. Roman is tossed around like a ragdoll.

Roman: "Do something!"

The pilot presses a button. A virus is spread throughout the bullhead.

Y/N: "Crap."

I'm forcefully purged reentering Ruby's contact. This allows the bullhead to finally get away.

Ruby: "Darnit, he got away."

Y/N: "Don't worry. He'll get what's coming to him."

Ruby: "I really hope so."

She turns around revealing a blonde woman in glasses. Ruby immediately goes fan crazy.

Ruby: "Oh my goodness, you're a Huntress! Can I have your autograph!?!?!"

She simply hmphs.

Woman: "Follow me."

Not wanting to cause trouble Ruby holsters Crescent Rose and follows this woman. We soon arrive at a police station where we're told to wait.
