Haven Academy

Y/N POV

I walk with the others through Haven Academy. But for some reason, it's dang near dead silent. 

Ruby: "Is it nearly this quiet?"

Qrow: "No. Something's wrong. Follow me."

We follow him to the headmaster's office. He then kicks down the door where the others are jump scared by a lion Faunus.

Lion: "Are you trying to give me a heart attack Qrow!?!"

Qrow: "Me!? Whatever happened to waiting for us at the gate!?!?!"

He checks a pocket watch.

Lion: "Apologies. Time slipped past me."

He stands dusting himself off.

Leo: "Leonardo Lionheart, at your service. You must by the kids Qrow talked about."

Ruby: "Yes sir. Ruby Rose."

Jaune: "Jaune Arc."

Ren: "Lie Ren."

Nora: "Nora Valkyrie."

Y/N: "Y/N L/N."

Leo: "Pleasure to meet you all."

Ruby: "Where is everyone?"

Leo: "I'm afraid they're out."

Qrow: "Why?"

Leo gets serious.

Leo: "Step into my office."

We head inside his office. Everyone takes a seat while I lean against the wall.

Qrow: "Alright. So what's all this about?"

Leo: "In case none of you are aware, Haven came into possession with what is being dubbed an ancient relic."

Qrow: "I heard rumors."

Ruby: "What is this relic?"

Leo: "That's what we're trying to find out."

Everyone becomes confused.

Jaune: "What do you mean?"

He shows a projection of what I assume is the relic. 

Leo: "Its concept is completely unknown. Meaning we have no idea how to even begin figuring out how it works. So until then it's just a piece of junk."

Ruby: "You got any ideas Y/N?"

Leo: "How would he know?"

I look at him.

Y/N: "I'm uh... not exactly human."

Everyone looks at me.

Y/N: "Brace yourselves."

I focus. Soon every electronic goes crazy. I then bounce from electronic to electronic.

Printer: *in Y/N's voice* "I have the ability to integrate into anything."

Computer: "So long as it's mechanical in nature."

Scrolls: "And it's not just simple possession."

I hijack Crescent Rose springing out of her holster.

CR: "If it's electric enough, I can full on control it. Making it do things that shouldn't even be possible."

I reholster myself returning to my body. 

Leo: "Amazing."

I smile when my left eye starts glitching.

Y/N: "Pardon me."

I run to the bathroom. I take off my glasses looking at my eye. It's then I notice red vines have now started forming. I feel them.

Y/N: "What in the name of Oum is going on with me?"

Voice: "And so it begins."

I narrow my eyes.

Y/N: "Time you were honest. Who are you?"

Voice: "A friend."

Y/N: "Then maybe you could tell me what's going on with me."

Voice: "You're becoming who you were always meant to be."

Y/N: "That's not ominous at all."

I look back at my eye.

Y/N: "What's gonna happen when all this is over?"

Voice: "You'll change the world."

I see the vines slowly spread. I sigh putting my glasses back on. I exit the bathroom to see the others leaving the academy. I join them as we make our way back to the the house.

Y/N: "So what's the news?"

Ruby: "Leo agreed to let you look at it."

Y/N: "When?"

Ruby: "Couple days. Says he has to get the proper paperwork filled out. Turns out he can't just take the relic from its hiding place."

Y/N: "So we wait?"

Ruby: "Yep."

Jaune: "Hey. You guys wanna go out tonight?"

Nora: "Let's do it!!!"

Ren: "It might be our only chance to truly relax."

Qrow: "So long as there's liquor."

Ruby: "Then it's settled."

They change route heading downtown. I join them when my systems crash. The world goes black as I hit the ground.
