The Relic

Y/N POV

The sun rises bringing light to a brand new day. I look in the mirror staring at my eye. I run a quick scan.

Y/N: "Virus rewrite at twenty percent. Time remaining, thirty one days."

I sigh.

Y/N: "This' gonna be a long fight."

Ruby: "Y/N, we're leaving!"

Y/N: "Coming!"

I put my glasses back on and join the others. We walk through Haven Academy. Looking up we see Leo leaning against a railing. 

Leo: "Glad you could make it."

Qrow: "Alright Leo, let's see this relic."

Leo: "Y/N."

I walk to Leo standing before him. He reaches into his pocket pulling out a strange object.

Y/N: "Is that the relic?"

Leo: "Yes."

I grab it looking it over. I then give it a scan.

Leo: "Well?"

Y/N: "Looks to be a storage type device."

Leo: "What's on it?"

Y/N: "No clue. But we're gonna find out."

I bring the device near my head. It hovers over a slot when the doors leading into the academy open. We're then greeted by four unknown people.

Qrow: "Who the heck are you?"

The tallest of the four step forward.

Giant: "Who we are aren't important. What is is that we claim what is on that relic."

Y/N: "You won't have it's knowledge."

I insert the relic. The world cracks apart into static. I then find myself in a black void. 

Voice: "A visitor, how nice."

I turn around to see a yellow orb materializing in front of me.

Y/N: "Who're you?"

Voice: "I have many names. But you have the pleasure to call me by my true name. You may call me... Eve."

Y/N: "Nice to meet you Eve. Now what's on this relic?"

Eve: "Secrets to the pillar of eternity."

Y/N: "Tell me all of them."

Eve: "What do you wish to know?"

Y/N: "Why is everyone having trouble bringing it online?"

Eve: "The pillar of eternity requires a person who knows how it runs on an exact level. Someone who used it before."

Y/N: "Where is the pillar of eternity?"

Eve: "No one knows. Once it was destroyed its pieces were scattered throughout the world. But many believe its main component stayed in the original location."

Y/N: "Where?"

Eve: "Atlas."

I get booted back to the real world. I shake my head seeing the fight currently unfolding. I leap over the railing bringing Penny's sword down on a boy with gray hair.

Gray: "Stupid machine."

He kicks my chest. At the same time a blast is fired launching me backwards. I slide to a stop when my systems go off. I hold my sword above me catching the sickle of a tan girl with green hair.

Green: "What was on that relic?"

Y/N: "I'll never tell."

She grits her teeth. She then brings down another sickle. I catch it making her eyes widen. I smile headbutting her away. She crashes into a pillar instantly making her aura shatter. 

Y/N: "That's you down."

Voice: "Never let your guard down."

My waist is grabbed by that tall guy. He tosses me up making me crash into the ceiling. As I come back down he grabs my ankle. I'm finally swung around before being thrown onto the ground. I stagger to my feet when he grabs the top of my head. Lightning then courses through his arm directly into me.

Giant: "Tell us what you found on the relic."

I look at him as anger fills my being.

Y/N: "I'll take what I found to my grave!!!"

I impale his side with Penny's sword. He slouches allowing my to grab his back. Then with a spin I throw him into the boy with gray hair taking them both down.
