Final Stand

Y/N POV

I go to leave. My eye however begins glitching out. It quickly spreads throughout my body making it go crazy.

Dad: "Oh come on, you're clocking out now?"

I drop to my knees clutching my head.

Y/N: "Make it stop."

Dad: "Just don't fight it."

I stagger to my feet.

Y/N: "Gotta get out of here."

I sway making my way towards the exit. Making it to the surface I look up.

Y/N: "Gotta get back... to Atlas."

I send a signal to the bullhead. But the second I do my systems crash making the world go black. 

3rd POV

After some time Y/N is flown back to Atlas. Arriving he's rushed to Pietro's office.

Pietro: "What's wrong with him?"

Ozpin: "He's infected. I need to know how bad it is."

Pietro nods inserting a cable behind Y/N's ear. Fromm there he's given a full body analysis.

Y/N POV

The world comes back. Taking a good look I find myself in a lab.

Y/N: "Great."

Voice: "Glad to see you finally awake."

I look finding a man with tan skin.

Y/N: "Who're you?"

Pietro: "My name's Pietro. Pietro Polendina."

Y/N: "You know a Penny Polendina by chance?"

Pietro: "Of course. She's my daughter."

Y/N: "I thought as much."

I sit up hopping off the table I'm on. 

Voice: "Where do you think you're going?"

I look forward.

Y/N: "To investigate."

Ozpin: "That might not be such a good idea."

I scan my eye. It's then I see the virus progress.

Y/N: "Ninety five percent. Big deal."

Ozpin: "You're running out of time Y/N."

Y/N: "No shit. Which is why I can't afford to waste anymore time."

I begin walking away. But Ozpin grabs my chest.

Ozpin: "I'm sorry Y/N. But you're no longer in fighting shape."

Y/N: "What're you saying?"

Ozpin: "Until this fight is over, you're out of the game."

Y/N: "You benching me?"

Ozpin: "That last attack nearly killed you. You won't survive the next one."

Y/N: "I'm dying regardless, so it's pointless."

Ozpin: "I understand your desire to end this. But you go down then your father takes over and we lose everything."

Y/N: "I won't let it come to that."

I push past his hand.

Ozpin: "Please Y/N. I'm begging you. Stand down."

I stop. I then look over my shoulder at him.

Y/N: "I'm sorry Oz. But I can't. I won't."

He sighs.

Ozpin: "You were a good person Y/N."

Y/N: "Goodbye Oz."

Ozpin: "When this' over, may you find peace."

I half smile.

Y/N: "Thanks."

I look forward finally leaving the lab. Along the way I think out loud.

Y/N: "Salem was at the lab. She stole the main peace."

I begin getting an idea.

Y/N: "That place had cameras. That means I might be able to find out where she went."

I smile. But lose it.

Y/N: "This' the final move. Meaning this' my final chance to settle things."

I turn walking to the dorms. After what felt like an eternity I arrive. I shakily sigh.

Y/N: "Here we go."

I knock on the door. A couple seconds later she opens the door.

Ruby: "Hey Y/N. Benn awhile. Where've you been?"
