Y/N, a freshly created AI program. Designed to be able to integrate into just about anything. But one day he seemingly dies. Watch as he returns and makes his way across Remnant to stop a plan that could very well end the world.
I put some final touches on my new body when a ring is heard. I look at the camera and smile.
Y/N: "It's unlocked."
The door opens. I then hear a familiar voice.
Penny: "Whatcha up to?"
Y/N: "Just going over some final designs. What about you?"
She smiles withdrawing a bundled object. She frees it revealing an orb.

Y/N: "Is that?"
Penny: *smiles* "Your core."
I admire it.
Y/N: "It's beautiful."
Penny: "Hurry. It can only survive so long without being hooked up."
Y/N: *nods* "Right."
I deploy a claw. Grabbing my core I carefully carry it to my body. Deploying my other claw I open the compartment in my chest. Then as gently as I can, I lower the core into its proper place. Once it's connected I close the compartment letting out a sigh of relief.
Y/N: "That's the easy part. Now for the hard part. Penny."
She nods getting a cable. She plugs one end into my body's chest.
Y/N: "And you're sure you wanna do this? There's a chance we could override your core and deplete all of its energy."
Penny: "Only if it's for you."
She plugs the other end into a slot behind her ear. Immediately the lab lights flicker. Penny goes stiff as her eyes repeatedly blink.
Penny: "Power transference initiated. Progress at thirty percent."
I watch as the lab lights now repeatedly brighten and dim.
Penny: "Progress at fifty percent."
Acting quicky I lower onto a slot. I close my eyes as I feel myself shutting down.
3rd POV
Y/N's new body begins glowing as his consciousness is poured into it. Meanwhile Penny groans as steam starts to come off her.
The lab lights explode being overloaded with energy. The severs implode and most of the equipment crashes. Penny's left eye glitches out as her right one keeps turning to static.
Penny: *out of tone* "P-p-p-progress at..." *high pitch* "One hundred, one hundred percent!!!!""
The room is coated in darkness as silence fills the air. Penny grabs her head groaning.
Penny: "Thank goodness for my insulated circuits."
She shakes her head looking at the unmoving body.
Penny: "Y/N?"
Y/N POV
A beep fills the air. A voice is then heard.
Voice: "Systems rebooting, please standby."
A load bar fills up. When it does I'm finally able to open my eyes. I groan feeling a tingling all over.
Y/N: "Did it work?"
I look down. I then go wide eyed. I open and close my hands. I smile, it worked.
Y/N: "It worked!!!!"
I hop off the table onto my feet. But immediately I start falling. Thankfully I'm caught.
Penny: "Welcome back."
Y/N: "It worked."
I'm helped to my feet.
Penny: "I can tell."
I try standing but my legs just feel like jelly.
Y/N: "Is walking normally this hard?"
Penny: "For the first time. But with some practice, you'll master it."
I'm sat back on the table. Penny then stands before me.
Penny: "So how does it feel?"
I look my new body.
Y/N: "Fantastic. To be able to actually walk and not float. I can't wait to see what all I'm capable of."
Penny: "Just take it easy. This' your first ever body. You'll need to work with it before you start going crazy with it."
Y/N: "I almost can't even wait."
She giggles. She then hands me a curtain.
Penny: "In the meantime I'd advise you to put this on."
I grab it looking it over.
Y/N: "Why?"
Her cheeks turn red as she adverts her gaze. She then points.
Penny: "Because being naked in public is illegal."
I look down. I frantically cover myself up.
Y/N: "Sorry you had to see that. Guess I need to learn the rules of being human."
Penny: "It's fine. Just try not to make it a habit."
She whispers something under her breath. I tilt my head.
