"How did the wedding planning go?" Finn asks me as I walk through the front door.

"It was good. Only one problem," I say.

"And what's that?" He asks.

"Derek's coming to Seattle, he's going to be Burkes best man,"

"Really? So are you going to tell him about the twins?"

"No," I say.

"Meredith, he's going to be at the wedding, you're the maid of honor and he's the best man, don't you think you two will run into each other eventually, he's going to notice you're pregnant," he says.

"Who cares? He knows I'm dating you, he'll just assume their yours, the thought of them being his won't even cross his mind," I say.

"Are you sure, you probably should tell, Derek," he says.

"Why are you so hell bent on me telling Derek about the babies? I mean you said you wanted to be a father, why do you want me to tell Derek so badly?" I ask.

"Because he has the right to know," he shrugs.

"Finn, you hate Derek, there's no way you want him in your life..." I say before realizing.

"Are you fucking kidding me Finn?!" I exclaim.

"What?" he asks.

"You want me to tell Derek because you know he'll want to stay and be a father to them and if he is then you don't have to. if you don't want to be a father just say that," I say, picking up an apple and throwing it at his head.

"Ow, Meredith," he winces.

"Go to hell," I say before leaving the kitchen and going upstairs to my bedroom.

I take my phone out from my and text Cristina about just happened with Finn.

a few minutes later I notification and when I look I see Derek tying. why the hell is he texting me?

I press his name and see I texted Derek what happened instead of Cristina and he's already seen it.

I go to delete the message but he's already sent a message.

D: that's a shame. but why are you telling me?

M: sorry wrong number

I text him back.

I go to text Cristina, and I make sure it's actually Cristina this time and tell her about Finn and about me accidently texting Derek that and not her.

C: how do you get 'Derek' and 'Cristina' mixed up?

M: I don't know, I guess I wasn't paying attention.

C: and you still haven't blocked Derek yet?

M: No, I just never got to it

C: or you secretly wanted him to text you back.

M: Can we talk about Finn instead of Derek?

C: Fine, are you going to break up with him since he doesn't want anything to do with the twins?

M: I don't know

M: wait Derek is texting me again.
