Derek.

"Derek, I don't think the fertility drugs are working," Addison says as she walks out of the bathroom with a pregnancy test in her hand.

"We haven't had sex in... a long time Addison, how would you be pregnant?" I say.

"Do you not want children? Why are you always blowing me off when I want to have sex witty you?" She asks.

"Believe it or not Addison not everyone wants to have sex with you," I tell her from my spot on the bed.

"I'm your wife you're supposed to want to have sex with me," she says.

"Well, I don't and I don't want you to have my children, then I'm stuck with you in my life forever," I say.

"Yeah but the second Meredith tells you she's pregnant with your twins we're going to Seattle soon," she rolls her eyes.

"We were already going Seattle for Burke and Cristina's wedding," I roll my eyes.

"Still, we both know you're going for more than just the wedding," she says.

"Why do you care? You're the one trying to sleep with mark," I say.

"How do you know about that?" She asks.

"Mark told me," I say.

"Why would he tell you that?!" She says frustrated.

"Because he knew how things were going last time and he doesn't want them to end the same. You don't want me, you want mark, I don't want you, I want Meredith, so why can't we just get divorced?" I ask. I've talked to her about divorce multiple times but she keeps denying our relationship is bad.

"We've been together for over a decade, you really want to just throw away all that for some slutty intern in Seattle, she probably just wants you for child support and then will kick you out of her life," she says.

"That's not Meredith, that's you," I say.

"You've known that girl for how long? Three months? Your entire family hates her, they love me, your family would never let you be with a person like Meredith," she says with a stupid smirk.

"Then good thing I don't care what they think," I say.

"You should they're your family, their opinion matters Derek," she says.

"No it doesn't, shut up Addison," I say.

"I'm not the one who had an affair.. wait never mind, I forgot that I fucked mark while you were in Seattle," she laughs.

I roll my eyes.

"You're so fucking stupid. I'm going to the bar," I say standing up.

"Why? Are you going to go find a New York version of Meredith?" She asks.

"Yup," I say before grabbing my keys and cost and leave.

****
Meredith.

Cristina and are still looking at dresses for the wedding. Callie and Izzies are already picked out so they bought their dresses and left.

But Cristina still doesn't like any of her wedding dresses and she doesn't like any of the dresses I suggested for me to wear.

She was fine with the ones Callie and Izzie picked out but she says it matters more what I wear because I'm the maid of honor.

I'm currently sitting on one of the benches waiting for Cristina to come out with a wedding dress.

Her mom and Burkes mom are also here. I still think it's kinda of weird that burkes mom is here, or maybe it's just because I'm not used to weddings.

This is my first time ever going to a wedding.

I mean, Cristina did just meet burkes mom this morning and now she's going to be judging the way dresses look on Cristina.

I also don't think Cristina really likes that she's here, Cristina doesn't like that either of the mothers are here.

"Okay, what about this one?" Cristina asks as she walks out of the dressing room.

"What happened to your hair?" I ask her.

"It got caught in... something. Is this too poofy?" She asks.

"A little, you look like you're going to trip down the aisle," I laugh.

"It looks great," Burkes mom says.

"Its a bit much, but maybe if you did your hair differently it would look better," Cristina's mom said.

"Mer said it's shit and I don't need her laughing at me while I'm walking down the aisle so no," she says walking back into the dressing room.

They both look at me. I look down into my lap and play with my fingers.

"So, Meredith," Burkes mom starts.

"How long have you known Cristina?" She asks. I thought it was going to be a pregnancy question. When you're pregnant it's like you have no personality, they only want to know about the baby.

"Almost a year, we met when we became interns at the hospital," I say with a small smile which fades immediately as I look down again.

"How are along are you?" Cristina's mother asks.

"Almost six months," I say.

"And it's twins?" She asks. I nod.

"Congratulations," she says.

"Thank you," I nod.

I really hope Cristina comes out soon.
