Meredith

I push Finn off of me when we get inside.

"What the hell was that!" I yell pushing him against the wall.

"I told you I want to be a father," he says trying to come close to me again.

"No! Finn!"

"I already have Derek who wants to be their father, remember him? You wanted him to be their father so you didn't have to? Well now he is you got what you wanted, now get out," I tell him.

"I only wanted him to be their father because I only want you, I don't want children let alone someone else's, I only want you," he says softly.

"I don't care what you want. These kids are apart of my life if you don't what them then you don't get my either, Derek wants me and the kids. I've made up my mind, I don't want you Finn. Go now," I tell him.

"Meredith," he says

"Finn leave," I say.

"Since when did you get so mean?" He says before leaving.

I sigh as I feel the twins start to kick again. I gently rub my stomach to help calm them down.

I get a notification and I see it's Derek.

D: are you busy right now?

M: no why?

D: I wanted to know if you were free for tonight

M: I am. What for?

D: Addisons not going to be back for a while and I wanted to talk, kinda like a date but we can do it at your place if you want. Just to catch up on the last eight months

M: yeah, sure. My place.

D: what time?

M: 7 pm

D: alright, I'll see you then

M: see you then

Once I've texted him I turn my phone off and put it back into my pocket. Now I'm really tired.

I go upstairs and go into the bathroom. I take a quick shower before putting on some pyjamas and going back into my room.

I get under the covers and take a small nap.

****
I wake up to a loud banging downstairs. I turn over and look at the alarm clock. It's four in the afternoon.

I go downstairs and see Cristina standing at the front door. She looks annoyed. I don't usually lock my door but since Finn was here and I was going to sleep I decided to.

I unlock the front door and open it.

"What the fuck Mer? I've been knocking on your door for the the past ten minutes," she says walking past me into the house.

"I was taking a nap and I didn't want any crazy people like you breaking in," I say closing the door again.

"It's not like I would have killed your," she says

"And thankfully we won't have to find that out. how was your honeymoon?" I ask her.

"Eh, it was alright," she shrugs as we go into the living room.

"What was wrong with it?" I ask.

"No surgery," she says as we sit down on the couch.

"You really want nothing else in your life other than surgery?" I say.

"What like children?"

"I'm not saying children but there are other things to life than surgery," I say.
