This takes place at the beginning of season 2. After Meredith found out about Derek wife and is trying to move on from him. But something comes up might change her life forever.
I'm in the kitchen when I hear a knock at the front door.
I put what I'm doing down and go see who it is. When I get to the front door I open it.
There's nobody there. I look at the ground and see there's a small basket on the ground.
I look to see if there's anybody there but there isn't. I grab the basket and bring it inside.
I bring the basket in the kitchen and place it on the table.
I see there's an envelope. I take it and remove the letter from inside. It's a love letter from Derek.
When I get to the end I feel a small card on the back side.
I turn it around and see it's an index card with a name on it. It's a boy name that starts with an M with a middle name.
I smile at it and take it off the note so I don't forget. I place them back into the envelope and put it to the side.
I look at the rest of the things in the basket and see it's all baby things.
One side is with pink things and the other side is with blue.
Each side has a teddy bear and clothes, pacifiers, blankets, and more.
I smile as I take everything and bring it upstairs and place it all in the nursery.
As I'm about to go into my room to take a nap I hear another knock at the door. Maybe it's Derek
I go downstairs and when I see it's Finn I immediately try closing the door but he puts his foot in the way.
"What do you want Finn?" I ask him.
"I want to be a father," he says. He walks into the house and kissed me hard.

I see Meredith kissing Finn. I was about to leave but then I saw her come downstairs again and I didn't want her to see me so I stayed hidden.
She squeezes his shoulder as he holds onto her waist and takes her inside.
They're back together I guess.
Once their out of sight I get back into my car and drive back to the hotel.
Could Addison have been right? No, Addisons never right, but she also might not have been wrong.
I go back to the hotel and lay on my bed. Addisons not here right now, she went out, I don't know where but I also don't care.
But could Meredith really have gotten back together with Finn? She said the reason they were over was because he didn't want to be a father. Maybe he changed his mind?
I guess I can't really be mad at Meredith. She never said she wanted to be in a relationship with me. She just told me a could be apart of the twins' life if I wanted.
I still have to divorce Addison if I want split custody of them.
As long as Addison is in the picture Meredith wont let me see them other than with their with Meredith.
But what if I don't want another man fathering my children? Especially if it's Finn.
I don't want another man kissing the woman I love.
He didn't want them before. He wanted me to know about them so he didn't have to be a father.
Why did that have to change?
I pull my phone out of my pocket and go into Meredith's contacts.
D: are you busy right now?
M: no why?
D: I wanted to know if you were free for tonight
M: I am. What for?
D: Addisons not going to be back for a while and I wanted to talk, kinda like a date but we can do it at your place if you want. Just to catch up on the last eight months
M: yeah, sure. My place.
D: what time?
M: 7 pm
D: alright, I'll see you then
M: see you then
I turn my phone off and put it on then we next to me.
Maybe she's not with Finn. Maybe it was a mistake. Or she just lied to me. I don't know anymore. I just miss her a lot.
