This takes place at the beginning of season 2. After Meredith found out about Derek wife and is trying to move on from him. But something comes up might change her life forever.
Did Meredith really just accidentally text me that her relationship went to hell with Finn and that she's pregnant with my twins?
No it can't be. Her and Cristina most likely just decided to play a dumb prank on me and decide to tell me once I'm in Seattle.
They probably only did it when they found out I was going to come to Seattle for the wedding.
I'm still surprised that Burke called me to be his best man. Burke and I were never friends but he apparently had no friends in Seattle that could be his best man and I was the closest thing he had to a friend.
Addisons also pretty excited because she's been wanting to go to a wedding for a while but none of your friends have been getting married since they all are already married.
I'm not sure why she's excited because she hardly knows Burke and Cristina. And the reason I'm not every thrilled to go is because I already know Meredith is Cristina's maid of honor, and if I'm Burkes best man then we're going to be seeing a lot of each other.
That's also a complaint that Addison had. She knows that Meredith and I are over and yet she still hates the idea of me being around Meredith at any time, even if it's in public.
She's already bought a dress for the wedding and Burke sent me the tux he wants me to wear and I've already paid for it.
Addison also waited until I got my tux so she could buy a dress to match it. I don't know why she found it so hard to match a tux, it's just black and white and she can't wear white so the answer is obviously black.
But she didn't want to wear a boring color to the wedding especially since she said Meredith would be wearing black to make her look less pregnant.
Addison also saw the messages between Meredith and I the second she got home and I was in the bathroom.
She's absolutely furious at the idea of Meredith having my twins and not her. Especially since she's infertile, she thinks this is Meredith's way of trying to one-up her... showing her that not only can she get pregnant with my baby but she can get pregnant with two of my children at the same time.
I told her what I thought and that it was most likely Meredith and Cristina playing a prank since they knew we were coming to Seattle. Or at least I think they know we're coming to Seattle for the wedding, Cristina probably knows but I don't know if she's told Meredith yet, or is she's waiting for me to arrive to tell her.
We're currently at a store in the mall so Addison can pick out a dress to wear at the wedding.
I told her one of the dresses that she had at home were fine. She's has hundreds of dresses that she's only worn once or ones that she's never even worn, I told her it was that important what she wore since no one would be looking at her.
She said that if Meredith was going to one-up her in children then she had to one-up her in clothing. I have no idea what that means.
She's a guest at the wedding. Not the maid of honor, and not the bridesmaid. I don't know why she thinks people are going to be looking at her.
"What about this one?" She asks as she stands in front of me in a light blue dress.
"I thought you were going to go with something that would match my tux," I say.
"All the black dresses here are crap... do you think Cristina would mind if I wore white to the wedding?" She asks as she looks at herself in the mirror.
"Yes, Addie. She would mind, you got your shine when you got married, don't take hers away," I say.
"It's not like her and Preston are really in love, it won't even matter..." she goes on.
"Addison, you're not wearing white to a wedding, pick another color, any other color," I tell her.
"What about red? It's my signature color," she says.
"Yes, sure, pick out a red dress to wear at the wedding," I tell her.
"Okay!" She says as she takes off the blue one, changes into her regular clothes and goes to pick out a red dress.
