Pinks, Reds and Whites.

He hated each shade of them.

He hated seeing heart shapes all over the place in the leading weeks of Valentines.

He hated seeing fancy and mouth watering chocolates fill the stores and forcing couples to buy them. While trying to make single people buy them to choke on during their lonely sobbing moment over being single.

He hated the teddies and heart warming gifts that were left scattered around for those that wanted to give a lasting gift to the one they've giving their heart towards.

He hated the sweet smelling flowers that choked anyone whenever they first step into a store.

He wasn't petty, not really.

He's just never had a nice valentines day before.

He was a vigilante, trying to book romantic dates or heart warming nights in didn't work out .. at all.

Some mission, case or even worse, some crazed idiot comes along to ruin the night and pull him away from whatever he had planned for the evening.

But the moment he plans to stay home, single, alone and sob into his cereal while judging love films, nothing happens.

And the colour red.. it only brought him pain now.

Red.

It goes well with Blue.

It went even better with Yellow a long time ago.

Red was the blurry colour that'd be left behind in Kid Flash's vanishing act.

Red was the delightful colour of Wally West's hair that he'd always allowed a certain ward to run his finger's through and play with.

Red, the colour of a strawberry that would match KF's face whenever he blushed so hard that his cute freckles became the seeds.

Red..

Red.. was Wally West.

Red was Kid Flash who should have been standing as THE Flash one day.

Red wasn't a colour for funerals.

Yellow and Red was a perfect match.

Blue and Red should have been their blended colour for the rest of their lives.

Red and Blue should have been the colours that finally blessed him with a decent and fun Valentines day.

Instead, Blue stood at the funeral in the distance.

Why would Dick Grayson be at Wally West's funeral?

The family didn't deserve such press during a day of pure grief.

Blue would never mix with Red again.

Blue should have been the perfect colour for a funeral instead.

Blue should have always been drowned out by the bright, joyful and daring Red.

But Blue survived while Red faded away.

He hated the colour Red

But he still very much loves the colour even till this day.

His Blue will stay single, alone and waiting for Red to fill his life once more.

Because Yellow and Blue was a perfect match to melt into Red.

They were colours only they could wear now..
