Side Note: Duke's not apart of the family just yet. He'd be taken in during the next or two purges in the future. His family will still be killed by the "Joker" and Batman takes him in. But that's not part of the story. So, it won't be mentioned. I just wanted you all to know where Duke is during this oneshot story. 

Robin gives an impressed whistle as he watches his smug and clearly happy big brother land easily on the roof with his arms full of the handsome young man they saw earlier. Batman staring with a frown to the side, only removing his glare from the father of the lost child to send an unimpressed look to his oldest son. 

Nightwing just keeps hold of Conner in his arms, uncaring over the weight of the man and simply enjoying the small treats in life that fate sometimes sprinkle into their path. Plus, he knew tonight might be his only chance to get to know the guy or spend any time with him. 

"And you wonder why I've never gone to you for romance advise. Wing knows how to do it with some real class" Robin commented as he glanced towards his father who was back to glaring towards Clark all over again and blaming his son's attitude on him tonight. 

"Please put me down. I should be crushing you" Conner 

"Oh? Promises oh promises. I don't mind crushing you either if you really want it. I'm a proud switch" Nightwing 

"Nightwing put the civilian down. They're already wasting our time and diverting us from others who need us tonight" Batman 

"Finding my son isn't a waste of your time" Clark snaps back, glaring straight back at Batman and ready to fight him over this. 

"I'm Nightwing. This my little wing, Robin. Over there is our grumpy but fearless leader, Batman. We're the batclan" Nightwing introduces their little family with a bright and proud smile, happing pointing to each member as he mentions them. Gaining Robin to give a nod in greeting while Batman just huffs. 

"I-I know who you are. I keep an ear out for any new gossip on the batclan" Conner nervously admitted as he scratched the back of his head and not waiting until he can write up tonight's effects for the newspaper. 

"Oh great. We've got another fan. You aren't going to try and kidnap one of us .. right?" Robin sighed, awkwardly shuffling closer to Batman as he asks his question. He knew how crazy fans could be in this city. 

"Or try to force us into wedding you tonight while it's legal to kidnap, drug and force a wedding .. right?" Nightwing worriedly asked as he looked Conner over, wondering if the "lost boy" was some worked out plan for them to use. 

"Try to hurt either one and I'll drop you in an area where you'd wish I had killed you myself" Batman growled out to both males in warning and ready to move within the blink of an eye if they became a threat. 

"I felt safer in your arms" Conner sheepishly admits as he shuffles closer to Nightwing and feeling much safer with him than with Batman. 

"I do give the best hugs. Ready to give you one whenever you need it" Nightwing brags with a cheeky wink and opening his arms up if the other wanted a hug. 

Conner felt his cheeks heat up before quickly turning away bashful and heading over to his brother. Tripping over thin air a little and letting everyone see his face heat up more over them witnessing it.
