Side Note: Clark took Dick in Au instead of Bruce. Leaving Richard to become a Grayson-Kent. 

Kon never understood when they've turned from You and Me to Us. 

He'd always been attached to Dick, never seeing him as a brother like he did with Clark. 

He liked living on the farm with Ma and Pa, to feel like he had a loving family that cherished and wanted him. He loved his found family, adored and cherished them as they did him. He was never planning to fall back into Lex's hands. 

But he also saw Dick as another family.

 He wanted Dick to have the Kent name in a different means and it had confused him so much at first why he hated being linked to Clark more than he was linked to him. 

At first he assumed he was just admiring or feeling gratitude to the younger boy. He knew Dick was the reason that Superman had came around over giving him a chance and bringing him to the farm to join their mismatch family. 

He saw first hand how stubborn one Richard Grayson could be and how even Superman fell to his knees before him when Dick was challenged or truly angry.

It was the most incredible but terrifying thing he's ever witnessed, seeing Superman defeated by a thirteen year old teen. 

But it gained him a home, a family he loved and brought him happiness. 

Dick was a ball of sunshine, bright, charming and the light of everyone's life once they've met him. 

Everyone would so easily fall weak before Dick and he had once assumed that the boy secretly was a meta. He still different fully believe the guy was a mere human, not after everything he was skilled at and able to do. 

Ma and Pa had taught him so much when he first came along. Took it slow and easy around him, taking his frustration and encouraging him to keep studying and learning human behaviour. 

Dick made understanding feelings of others and his own feelings much easier, using examples, showing him different facial expressions to each emotion and noticing whenever his mood change and pointing out the name to the feeling. 

Clark stepped up in teaching him how to control and learn over his powers better. Visiting the farm as often as positive and giving one on one lessons with him. Helping him reach a good point in controlling his own powers that he was given the chance to start a normal human high school and gain some normal teenage memories.

He was given a chance to live a normal life, and he loved it. 

He didn't mind the other young heroes he was placed on a team with. They were all friendly in their own way and all seemed to be as unsure over their places in the hero world as he was. All of them working to prove to their mentors that they could be something big, be someone trusted and not a mere sidekick anymore.
