Wally knew that Dick was the best friend he'd ever have in his life.
An even better husband when Wally finally get's a better hold of his nerves and ask the boy out on a date and hopefully have him become his boyfriend. He knew he actual had to date his best friend if he wanted to marry him.
But Wally wasn't ready to risk the most special and strongest bonded friendship he's ever had due to a bunch of feelings that might end up being just teenage hormones.
But Wally knew that Dick was perfect.
Not in a model or angel way.
Dick had flaws, he knew he did and he didn't like showing them but he at least accepted he had flaws he might try to hide.
Dick was perfect because he was so human.
The moment Wally had let slip that he's never been trick or treating before, Dick didn't even hesitate to announce that they're giving it a go that very year.
He had "borrowed" one of Bruce Wayne's many cards and took them shopping for a costume. Well, he told Wally to buy any costume he wanted, bought it with the card while never once looking at the chosen costume.
They were both going to surprise each other with whatever costumes they had picked out on the night of Halloween.
Dick had promised that he was going to have a great experience.
That they'd meet up at five pm, at the Allen's household, have noodles for tea and than head out to the safe neighbours to trick and treat.
Wally was frighten, he was fourteen and he feared that people might comment over him being too old or make fun of him. He was already a bit of a nerd at school and he didn't want to become a bully's target. Not since he's finally escaped being bullied when he was much younger.
But Dick had announced that he'd fight anyone who dared to even look at them funny. He grew up in Gotham, no one batted an eye at someone in a costume anymore. If central city couldn't handle a young teen on Halloween than they shouldn't expect Flash to save them all year round.
So, Wally agreed to go trick and treating with his best friend. Told his uncle and auntie over the Halloween plans since the two would be at home and giving out candy to anyone who knocked.
Wally was surprised by how emotional the pair had became at the news of him creating a normal and happy memory for his childhood. Seemed both had been worried over all his childhood experiences being ruined by his old bullies or his abusive parents. Neither were really sure how to make up for t he lost time and didn't want to force him into Halloween either.

FanfictionThis is a oneshot book that'd cover some of the male ships involving Nightwing/Dick Grayson. I won't cover them all and I'll make sure to add the ship name within the title for everyone to click on the ones they prefer.
