Prompt: Batfam decides on a group costume for patrol with the theme of Batman and Robin. I've seen so many people talk about this and wanted to try writing a version up.
Bruce had a reason to be very worried over his family. It was October the 31st and as much as he had hoped that his children, friends and cousin would be mature and sensible to not actual go through with the group costume plan.
He'd prayed that he'd go out on patrol, in the wrong costume due to his own had been somehow stolen and hidden, and find out that the whole group costume had been some Halloween trick on him. That he'd be the only one forced in an costume that wasn't his own and be laughed at by the others.
Halloween was normally an awful night for Patrol, all the plagues coming out to "Play" with the city and leaving all the Gotham vigilante struggling to tell badly decided costume wearing civilians apart from the actual escape rogue.
So, Batman, currently dressed as Steph's Robin, left for patrol to hunt down the rest of his coven.
Jason: Red Hood..
Bruce shouldn't have even been surprised with his second oldest. He soon landed on a roof within Crime Alley to try and catch sight of his son somewhere in the area and easily found him.
He actual hesitated, glancing towards the rest of Gotham and wondering if he could still slip away without being spotted by the crime lord. But it seemed Halloween really did put a curse on those unlucky enough to be brave or foolish enough to come out on such a spooky evening.
Red Hood, the second Robin and the current crime lord in charge of Crime alley had came casually grappling towards his father figure the moment he finished dealing with the goons causing trouble in his turf.
He'd stood cocky and proud over himself, fists on his hips and looking as if he's solved world hunger itself.
Jason Todd had decided to dress as the original boy wonder.
The actual original design that never left the cave and the first Robin and only trained in before he was given permission to join Batman on patrols and gained a better armoured and functional suit.
Bruce was sure he had burned the original outfit and deleted all and any footage over Dick wearing such an outfit that was clearly a cry for help over losing his parents months before.
