A/N: This is one I do want to complete but it's been a whole month since I started it up and I haven't really gotten very far with it. So, I might come back in the future to finish it off or add bits. For now, I'll just upload what I've done so I don't end up deleting it as a draft.

A/N: Yikes, Sorry for taking so long to write up a second part to this oneshot. I wasn't overly comfortable that people would be interested in the oneshot and wanted to hold back on creating a second part in case it flopped. But I've noticed a handful people have seemed to like it and just how long it's been since I've tried doing a part 2. So, here it is, sorry for the wait, hopefully you'll all like this part too.

For those who might never have read the first part or don't remember the story plot and might want to re-read. The first part is near the start of this book altogether. It' the second of the first few condick's oneshots ever done .. that's how old it is lol.

Side Note: Renegade suit is still orange and black. But he wears a cowl that covers the top half of his face but shows hair hair instead of a full face mask.

Rose finds her brother sulking on a rooftop and knows she has to do something to cheer his mood up. It wouldn't be worth her father rescuing the guy if he was more depressed free than as a Talon.

He was meant to be happier, to love the person he chose to become and live a life he's always wanted and was able to live a life that was his own.

He wasn't meant to look so hurt and defeated. To have his free will crushed and stumped on so brutally.

She's heard what happened, not by her father but by Batboy, she might not be a full member of the team but she was relied on for information or was known to help them out if their path crosses.

And she purposely made her path cross with one of the team's members when she heard no news over her brother's test day or heard any rumours of a new hero appearing. Her father wouldn't told her, still a bit bitter over her leaving and being semi allies with heroes when it's needed.

She knew Dick wouldn't say a word either, he'd merely suffer in silence and blame himself until his self hate finally turned him numb over it all.

"Why don't you go see that friend you're not meant to have, spend a long weekend with him and help out?" Rose offered up as she plops herself down beside him, sitting cross legged by the edge and watching the man swing his legs over the edge.

"The heroes hate me. He'd probably shoot me too" Dick huffed back as he stayed staring out at the city, shoulders tensed as if he was waiting for someone to strike from the shadows.

"He seems to be rebelling against his fellow heroes right now and, well, I don't think he'd put an arrow in you. Not unless it's proven you're a monster" Rose argued back with a pointed look as she was pretty sure his only friend wouldn't just assume like the other here's seem to do.

"D would track me down if I suddenly disappear" Dick sighed as his shoulders slumped, not wanting his foster parent to find out about his family.

"Leave a note behind. Just mention you're going to clear your head" Rose replied with an unbothered shrug, she's pretty sure her father would leave the older male alone for a weekend in hopes it might be what he needs to cheer up again.

"Okay.." Dick whispers, giving a small nod.

"Okay?" Rose repeats, sounding both surprised and hopeful at once.

"Yeah. I'll have me time" Dick announced with a more firm nod.

"Have fun" Rose sing-sang back, happy that her brother was getting away and escaping from his low mood.

Dick soon found himself breaking in to a shabby apartment that belonged to one Roy Harper. His best friend in secret since he saved the guy's life a couple years ago. Roy was freaked out by the glowing eyes at first but just got use to it and titled them as friends.

Roy didn't do spare keys, never since he moved out to live on his own. His one and only spare key was hidden somewhere in the hallway for quick and easy grabbing when Roy's locked out.

"Hello!" Dick

"Now heading out" Roy

"Oh" Dick

"Food's in the kitchen. You know how to work the shower. Don't steal all my blankets again. Or you can head out with me?" Roy

"Any heroes about?" Dick

"Kidflash phoned after your test to gossip about it. What really happened?" Roy

"One of the robot's weren't on safety mode. I caught Batboy fighting it and stepped in to help. He got hurt, by the robot. I blasted the robot with it's own live gun. By blasting it with a live weapon it set of the alarms and the maze went down. The heroes saw Batboy on the ground, bleeding and me, standing with a gun. Instead of taking notice over the robot being shot down, they treated me as a threat" Dick

"The justice league are real arseholes. You're better off going solo" Roy

"I don't know how to be a hero. I can't work solo. It's why I wanted to join the team. Learn with them" Dick

"Ren, we're best friends. I want you to live your dream but the Justice League won't magically make you one of their sidekicks when you've been raised by a known villain. They talk about second chances and seeing the best in people but it's all lies. They'll treat you as a threat until you've finally almost died for some of them or they just get distracted by another troubled teen" Roy

"Maybe I should have stayed with the court. Having free will but not being able to do what I want is worse than no freedom at all" Dick

"Don't say that. Who'd I complain to when Oliver is being a wanker. I need my chatty friend or I'd lose my mind" Roy
