Side Note: I'll be using US school years and grades. I'm from the Uk so things are a big different for us. So, apologies if I do mess up in that small section. I'm going with what I've been taught by others. Also, in the Uk, the law states children from the age of five must go to school. Not sure if that's the same for US but I'm keeping to the law.

A knock at the door turned everyone's heads towards the direction of the entrance. Even those not even in the living room still turned towards the direction as if they could see through the walls or floors and know who was there.

"Before I open this door did anyone break the law recently?" Dick called out from the living room, placing the winnie the poo book down on the coffee table that he was reading towards the youngest family member.

They've all moved in six days ago, all of them unpacking and turning the farm house into their very own beloved house. Bedrooms chosen and painted in personally chosen colours and everything set up as they wanted it. A few boxes were still left unpacked and untouched but held nothing of great importance that they needed straight away.

"Tati, I shall not be caught" Damian sharply huffed out with a grumpy pout, clutching his plastic toy katana that came from a ninja Halloween kit. The two Sai plastic toys went to Cass and the second katana was kept in Damian's room as a spare since the toddler loved his katanas as if they were his teddies.

"I haven't done anything recently and nothing that'd have them banging on the door" Jason called back from the kitchen, making everyone their different drink orders since he foolishly called out if anyone else wanted a drink.

"Cass says she wouldn't have left any evidence behind if she did" Steph yelled down from their shared bedroom, mostly the loft that was safely turned into a bedroom before they moved in.

"I'm starting to want that lock on my door again" Tim whimpered from the tiniest bedroom upstairs that he claimed since he didn't have much stuff and didn't want space for other's to disturb him either.

"As long as it wasn't anything damning. And no locks" Dick commented under his breath before yelling back the last bit to make it clear none of them were getting locks.

Finally reaching the door and opening it up, mostly expecting something bad to happen as his luck has never been overly great. Instead he was staring at a nervous looking man who ever very, very handsome. And very fit, looking rather strong and damn, those muscles were making him drool.

"Ma wanted to welcome you all to the neighbourhood and baked you a pie" The stranger awkwardly mumbled as he held out the pie dish, a layer of clingfilm wrapped around it to protect the pie from being damaged or ruined during it's trip one from house to the other.

"Oh wow, thank you. I'm sure this will be eaten up within minutes by the birds and bats. That's so nice of her. I don't have anything to give back though. Can I invite you all round for a cup of tea one day?" Dick smiled back sweetly, surprised and overly happy from the kind action before finally panicking over not being able to do anything in return right now. He didn't think neighbours still greeted one another or baked anything for each other.
