A/N: No BruDick happens. This is just Dick's upbringings by the supers and how he grew up into the person he becomes before meeting Bruce. Brudick will happen in the next part.
The truth to the night that Clark met his little brother was that his memory wasn't very clear. He had normally kept as far away from Gotham as possible after hearing rumours of the bat protecting the city.
This was when Superman was new to the skies, when he thought that Batman was an actual man size bat or some vampire. None an eighteen year old with the need for justice and power to try and protect Gotham, the desire to turn Gotham better.
But as much as Clark was trying to get use to his life in Metropolis, his hearing picked up on the utter heart breaking cry from a child. The screams and gasps coming from a large number of people afterwards.
Superman was making an appearance within minutes to the big top. Watching civilians rush out of the tent or stand froze, staring at the limp bodies laying in a broken bone and blood poured pile.
And that's when he spotted the boy. A boy staring down to his parents, tears filling his big blue eyes before he was soon sliding down the trapeze stand ladder. Racing towards his parents limp and cold turning bodies, kneeing beside them and sobbing for them to wake up, to let him kiss the wounds all better. The rest was lost in the translations as the boy started speaking in a different language to his deceased parents.
Superman was soon landing behind the boy, slowly kneeling beside him and pulling him away from his parents. Letting the boy cling to him as he cried, begged the heavens and pleaded to any god willing to hear his heart breaking sobs.
Unclipping his cape with one hand, leaving the other hand to rub up and down the boy's back in a comforting manner. Wrapping his cape around him to help warm the trembling boy and give him a comfort blanket to use for now.
Clark hated how he stood still, watching as a police officer dragged the dead eyed boy away. A social worker not even showing up and merely barking out their orders for the child by phone.
Superman had kept an ear out towards the boy. Learning that he was taken to a juvenile detention centre instead of an orphanage or a foster home. He stayed listening in to the broken hearted boy.
Hoping that maybe reporter Clark Kent could help somehow. But he was a newbie at the Daily Planet and he was more of a assassin than anything close to a reporter. Mentioning the Flying Grayson's deaths did nothing more than have the newspaper add a tiny column over Haly's Circus losing it's main attraction. Nothing mentioned over the last flying Grayson or his unfair treatment.
Two months later and Ma Kent had fostered the boy for him. Seemed he had talked so much about the boy he had only met once that both Jonathan and Martha knew they had to help somehow. They knew their age might have stopped any long time adopts but gaining a fostering licence went much quicker due to already having raised a child before.
Richard John Grayson was placed in Jonathan and Martha Kent's care. Fostered on their farm and most likely would be raised by them for the rest of his life. Not many families were in need of adopting in Smallville, just as they hoped. It left Dick to become apart of their family if he'd allow it and stay with their family.

FanfictionThis is a oneshot book that'd cover some of the male ships involving Nightwing/Dick Grayson. I won't cover them all and I'll make sure to add the ship name within the title for everyone to click on the ones they prefer.
