Bruce knew it was foolish to fall in love with an ex Talon, more so the one that had been sent to kill you. 

But the point that Bruce decided to focus on was the fact that the Talon had chosen to not kill him. They had indeed fought, Bruce was recently new to being Batman while Talon had been one since he was eight. 

But Talon decided to he wouldn't kill him, neither Batman or Bruce, he didn't want to kill him. 

Bruce had learnt that the Talon, Richard Grayson, Dick, was only a year younger than him in physical form at least. Neither Dick nor Bruce could track down what year Richard was born or when he was stolen from the courts. 

Dick had been turned into Talon at an early age, younger than any other Talon due to the main reason of being the Gray Son. He'd been injected with the final lot of electrum at seventeen, once the signs showed he was no longer going to grow. The court didn't want an Talon that would have stayed a child forever, they've tried it and grew a distaste for how much weaker they were compared to a grown Talon. 

But that meant Dick was a lot older than he was, Bruce just couldn't bring the comfort of saying how long he's actual lived for. Well, he was dead, no pulse. 

Talon had retired the moment that Dick gained his name back. 

The Court of Owls never held a chance against both Batman and Gray Son. 

It didn't take long for Bruce to fall in love with his roommate and fighting crime partner. 

And Bruce never regretted falling in love with the zombie.

He'd never stop falling in love with him either. 

Bruce knew it was a little bit crazy to form fake documents for Dick just to marry the man when they had stayed happily dating for many years already. 

But Bruce wanted to claim his husband, to be claimed by his husband in return. 

And they had just taken in Jason, adopted their son. 

They adored him, cherished him and Bruce never thought he could love a man more than when he sat Dick stand as Tati to their son. 

After Jason came Tim, a child that Dick had "accidently" kidnapped after noticing the boy being abandoned by his parents weekly. 

Bruce and Jason had just sat down to eat the meal Alfred had cooked for them when they watched their husband/Tati casually walk in with a child flung over his shoulder and sat them both down to eat. An extra plate soon placed down before the boy. 

Bruce had tried reminding his husband over act being kidnapping and Timothy Drake had parents already, still living parents. The joke over that fact could be easily changed by Dick wasn't funny for anyone in the room. 

Jason merely accepted his Tati had broken the law to gain him a baby brother for him. Even though he had asked for a new book collection, he'd take what he can get. It's the thoughts that what counted and Tim needed a good home full of love and happiness.
