Side Note: After it was clear that Superman wasn't going to become his step-dad. Maybe Bruce and Clark should have known better to leave Dick alone with Lois. 

Since Dick had learnt over Bruce being Batman and being able to stand as Robin, his partner. He's made it his duty to try and gain Superman as his step-dad not dad. He had a dad just as he had a mother. Bruce wasn't prepared to be a Dad just yet but they couldn't be mere siblings either. 

So, dad but not a dad seemed to work. 

And Dick wanted Superman as his second Dad not Dad. 

He has worked to help Batman and Superman's friendship to grow since the first night he's ever met Superman. 

He's spoke good over Superman and praised Clark Kent's articles too. 

Trying to butter up both Bruce Wayne and Batman up over the man. 

Batman and Superman knew what was going on. 

In fairness, they didn't notice it until Dick was thirteen and he exploded on Lois Lane as soon as stepped into the Wayne manor as Clark's girlfriend for the meal. 

Lois may have been a fangirl over the whole Batman x Superman thing. She's read a few fanfics over the pair and just mostly liked to tease the Super with such a relationship. She also knew that Batman hated it as well and she found great pleasure in trying to push every single button of Bruce Wayne. 

So, of course she learnt rather early on over Richard Grayson trying to hook up Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne. As well as Superman and Batman when they saved him from his kidnappers. 

In truth, Lois should have worked out Clark's and Bruce's identity much sooner by Richard's actions than having to be told by the pair of them over who they were. It was rather embarrassing over how obvious everything was. 

But before she knew Clark to be Superman. She had fully supported in Richard trying to gain Superman as a step-dad and cheered for his victory. She did feel bad falling in love with Clark and gaining a relationship with him. Knowing she had betrayed her fellow Superbat shipper. 

So, when she arrived, Richard and Robin, held nothing back from her over the betrayal. 

The good news was that Clark and Bruce finally learnt over the many plans that Richard and Robin have been using in hopes to hook them up. Each and every try had failed, poor soul. But at least they knew over it now and would smartly shoot him back as he carried on trying to hook them up. 

Promising that Lois could just be a fling that never worked. Maybe that Clark's heart was mistaken and he just grew overly close to his best friend. Saw her as family in a none romantic sense. He didn't but Richard tried to reason with the super human a little. 

In high sight, both heroes should have remembered how petty Dick could be when he's stabbed in the back. And how much of a devil Lois Lane actual was. Dick could taint anyone and Lois would have joined him for the fun of it.
