Chapter 3

Seulgi's POV
I woke up early in the morning when my phone rang. I took it and saw Sunmi noona calling me.

I answered it while still sleepy and put my phone to my ear. "Hello, noona?"

"Bear, is it your day off today?"

"Yes, noona. Why?"

"Can you join me here? Redpink has a comeback showcase today. Dohwan is sick. Jaekyoon oppa has a meeting with the producers of one of the broadcasting companies. And Ah-ra unnie also has a meeting with the crew at the other show that Redpink is going to." There was a trace of tiredness in Sunmi noona's voice.

"Okay, noona. I'll go there. Just text me the location, okay?"

"Okay! Thank you, bear!"

"You're always welcome, noona. Anyway, I'll hang up now to prepare."

"Okay. Bye!"

I just hummed before I ended the call. And then I stretched out first before I got up and took a quick shower. After that, I went down to the basement parking of my unit while reading noona's message about where the showcase is and walked toward my motor to drive to that place.

Sunmi noona and Dohwan hyung call me whenever one of them is absent and have difficulty monitoring the Redpink group due to hectic schedules or exhaustion.

It started two years ago when Redpink had an outdoor performance, and my team was one of their backup dancers. During their performance, I noticed that Joy's mic was not working. And when I looked at Dohwan hyung, who was the only manager at that time, he was busy talking to one of the staff. So I ran briskly to him and said that. Then ran back to my place before we went to the stage.

There are so many incidents like that, that sometimes even the other managers of Redpink, like Jaekyoon hyung or Ah-ra noona, are with Sunmi noona or Dohwan hyung, they don't instantly notice some problems in Redpink because they are busy with other things.

And I couldn't blame them, rather I understand them, because I have a cousin who is also a manager. Based on what he told me about his job, I somehow understood how hard it is as a manager, and I can say that being a manager is not a joke.

So, I told the Redpink's managers to call me whenever they needed help. But I also informed them I can only go when I'm not busy. And because of that, I became close to them.

Sunmi's POV
"Noona." I heard Seulgi's voice, so I looked in the direction where the voice came from.

I saw him walking towards me with his black baseball cap, white facemask, black hoodie jacket, beige cargo pants, and white shoes. He stopped when he was in front of me and glanced at the set as one of the staff announced to the girl group that the showcase was about to begin.

"Let's sit over there. My feet are hurting now from standing since earlier." I said while pointing in front of the set when he looked at me again.

"One moment." He said and went to the nearest staff and whispered something. Then, he came back again after. "Let's go?"

I nodded in response and walked in front of the set. "What did you say to the staff?" I whispered to Seulgi after we sat on the floor along with the writers, cameramen, and other staff.

"I just asked her to give Joohyuna a blanket because she gave her blanket to Joy." Seulgi also whispered.

I looked at the set and saw a staff gave a blanket to Irene unnie. She and Joy are wearing a pleated short skirts. Yeri is wearing a mini dress, but she has a blanket. And Wendy is wearing high-waist pants, so she doesn't need a blanket.
