Irene's POV
"Where's Wendy?" I asked Yeri, who was in the living area when I entered our dorm.

"I think she's still on her bed, unnie." She answered while busy on her phone.

I walked towards Wendy's room and knocked on it before entering her room. I saw her still lying on her bed and sleeping.

I went to her and shook her shoulder. "Yah. Wake up." She just hummed and just moved a little. "Yah. I wanted to ask you something." I said while shaking her shoulder.

She searched for something on her bedside table with her hand. And when she held onto her phone, she looked at the screen and closed her eyes again.

"Just ask later, unnie. It's still 8 in the morning." She complained in a sleepy voice while returning her phone to the bedside table.

I don't want to prolong this any longer! "Yah. Did you know that Bogum was the one who ordered to beat up Seulgi?"

I was startled when she immediately sat up and looked at me with wide eyes. "How did you know that?!"

I frowned, "So, Seulgi told you that, but you didn't tell me?"

"He doesn't want me to tell you about it. You know his weakness, right? He knows you will be hurt if you find out about it."

I sat on the edge of her bed and sighed while looking nowhere, "But I'm the one hurting him. What will I do now, Wendy-ah? I just realized yesterday that I have feelings for him." I said in a low voice.

"I told you, you li---" She was suddenly silent. "You what?!"

"Ouch!" I complained while holding my ear. I looked at her and saw her shocked face. "You don't have to shout!"

She held my shoulders, "Did I hear it right?! Do you really like Seulgi?!" She asked eagerly.

"Do I need to repeat it for you?" I asked in annoyance and removed her hands from me.

"No. Tell that to Seulgi now."

"Not now."

She frowned, "Why? He will be happy when he hears that."

"I know. He confessed to me last night."

"Really?! I'm so proud of him!" She expressed happily.

"But he didn't know that he already confessed to me because he was drunk and thought it was just a dream," I said and laughed softly.

"Wait. How did he meet you last night? You celebrated your dad's birthday at your house, right?" She looked perplexed.

"It's because Mom invited him. I was surprised when I realized that the doctor who pays Seulgi's dad's hospital bill is my mom. I also discovered earlier that Dad knew about this and even supported Mom."

"Wow." She commented in amusement. "I think you really are meant to be, unnie." She looked at me with a teasing smile, but I just rolled my eyes in response. "What will you do now?"

I sighed problematically, "I don't know. That's why I asked you that earlier, right?"

"Oh, right." She said and thought for a while. "Do you still love Bogum oppa?"

I thought about that question after our family talk last night, and I already know the answer. "I thought I still loved him when we first met in a long time because my heart beat faster when I saw him. But it was just because of excitement and happiness that I finally saw the person I had been waiting for. And I misinterpreted the feeling of missing into love."

I thought I still loved him, but my brother was right. I'm just used to loving him, so that's what my brain is saying, even though it's contrary to what my heart is saying.
