My poor best friend. I sighed and went to my members after Seulgi left.
"Why did you hug him?" Irene unnie asked.
I looked at her with a teasing smile. "Why? Are you jealous?"
She frowned, "What are you talking about? Don't you know that someone might see the two of you and have a dating scandal?"
"I don't care about them, unnie. Besides, our dating ban was only for the first three years of our career, and our group is already five years now. So it means we can date now like Joy." I said and laughed when Joy was surprised when I mentioned her name.
"Our company doesn't have a problem with dating, but they have problems with their artist getting caught like Joy because it might have a negative impact on the group," Unnie said.
"Yah. Why do you keep mentioning my name? There were also artists who got caught in our company, not just me." Joy complained.
"Because you're the one who's near us," I answered.
"And you're the one with a boyfriend in our group," Yeri added. Oops, you're not sure about that, Yeri. Hahaha.
Joy and Yeri were busy bickering when a group of people walked toward us.
"Noona," Sehun called Irene unnie and put his arm over her shoulders after they stopped in front of us. Sehun is with his members, including my oppa.
Irene unnie startled and lightly hit Sehun's shoulder after she saw him. "Yah. You surprised me."
Sehun laughed, "That's my purpose. What are you doing here?"
"We're waiting for our managers. What about you?" Irene unnie asked back.
Suho oppa spoke before Sehun could answer. "We have practice today."
Irene unnie, Suho oppa, and Sehun have been friends since they were trainees. And I think Suho oppa has feelings for Irene unnie. It's okay for me if they will have a relationship, but I'm still rooting for my best friend to unnie.
Sehun sneered at his leader. "Noona asked me, not you, hyung."
"Stop being childish again, Sehun." Chanyeol oppa said. By the way, I know he and Rosé are dating. We sometimes had a double date.
"Let's go now, guys." D.O. oppa said.
I looked at him and saw him bow at us. He landed his gaze on me and smiled a little before he left us and his members.
"Let's go. Our grandpa might scold us if we take long." We laughed at Baekhyun oppa's joke, referring to D.O. oppa. After that, we bowed to each other before they left us.
"I wonder how D.O. oppa as a boyfriend," Joy stated while watching the boy group walk away.
"I think he is a gentleman to his girlfriend," I answered, stating the fact.
"And how do you say that, unnie? I think he is a strict boyfriend and a silent one." I just shrugged my shoulders in response to what Yeri said. Of course, I'm his girlfriend, Yeri. And what you said is opposite to reality.
"Girls, let's go." Dohwan oppa said after he and Sunmi unnie arrived.
They are the ones who are always with us because they are our road managers. The road manager is always on-site with the artists. Take the artists to their busy schedules and stay with them 24/7. Responsible for driving the artists to places and ensuring their security, especially in crowded areas.
Ah-ra unnie is our chief manager. The Chief manager will delegate schedules to the road managers. The one who plans events, manages public image, and adjusts schedules for the artist. Oversee and manage all the daily, weekly, and monthly plans. The one who will review what the show is about and determine if the show will have a positive impact on the group's image. The one who will also have discussions and meetings with the crew to make sure the show contents align with the idol group.
Jaekyoon oppa is our head manager. The head manager is given huge responsibilities, including building strong business relationships with producers of broadcasting companies, taking charge of marketing the group, and signing casting agreements. The one who manages a whole idol group.
So, we rarely got to be with Ah-ra unnie and Jaekyoon oppa because they were busy, but we were still close to them.
"I want to inform you girls that you will start the preparation for your concert in Japan tomorrow." Sunmi unnie announced while we were walking towards the parking lot.
"Our concert will be on the second Saturday of this month, right?" Yeri said.
"Right. And we talked earlier about your comeback. After your concert, you will prepare for it. As usual, you will learn to sing the song for a week. And for the next two weeks, you need to learn the choreography. After that, you will record the song and shoot the MV." Dohwan oppa informed us.
"Are we not going to have a dance practice video?" Irene unnie asked.
"You will record your dance practice after the shoot." Sunmi unnie answered.
"When is our comeback?" I asked.
"It will be the first week of May." Sunmi unnie answered again.
I'm so excited about our concert, but I know it will also be a tiring preparation.
After we arrived at the parking lot, Dohwan oppa opened the van's door for us and drove to the location of our schedule today.
Seulgi's POV
After I ate at the cafeteria and took my medicine, I went to the practice room because Heechul hyung was going to announce something.
We were already complete when Heechul hyung arrived. So, he immediately told us that all the dance crew from our team were going to Japan along with some of the dance crew from the other team for the Redpink concert. The solo performance of Moonbyul noona will end this week, so it will not be a problem.
"Let's do busking in Japan for fun if we still have time, guys." Hyoyeon noona suggested after hyung's announcement.
"Oh, that's a great idea. I will video your busking and upload it to SNS to gain your popularity." Heechul hyung said.
"What will we do to the money we collect then?" Sooyoung noona asked with excitement in her voice.
"It depends. What if only a few people watch us, or worse, no one watches us?" Sungkyu hyung said and laughed.
"Don't be so negative, oppa. I'm sure there would be a lot of people who will acknowledge our talent and give us lots of money." Chaeyeon said.
"Agreed. And we will use the money to buy some food for ourselves. In that case, we can save our own money." Sunyoung noona stated.
"Then, what's our plan? What will be the flow of our busking?" I asked.
"Let's think of something that will gain the viewers." Junho hyung said, and we became quiet to think of an idea.
Wooyoung hyung spoke after a moment. "I have a suggestion." He said while raising his hand. "We can start the busking first with the girls, and the boys will be the audience. So other people will be curious about what's happening. And then after that, the girls will exit while the boys go to their position."
We nodded at what he said. "Yeah, we can do that. And after the boys dance, we will all be dancing freestyle. So, the audience can join us if they want to." Myungsoo hyung said.
"Okay, it's all settled. We only need to think about the songs, outfit, and how you will practice that without consuming so much time because you still need to practice for the concert, and you might not do that if we need to leave Japan immediately." Heechul hyung said.
We nodded and started to give our opinions.
