Irene, who is an idol, is a friend of Seulgi, who is one of their company's backup dancers. But one time, something happened that led one of them to act like a stranger to the other.
Irene's POV Wendy said Blackvelvet and our members decided to hike together since we met each other here in Seoraksan.
"Where are we going now, oppa?" I heard Lisa ask after we jogged toward them.
"We will now go to Ulsanbawi." Hae In oppa answered.
"The hike is pretty easy and flat until the very last bit, which involves going up almost 900 stairs to reach the peak," Seulgi spoke behind me.
"Almost 900 stairs?! That's so many." Jennie complained.
"Don't worry. We're not going there in a hurry. It's still early. We can take a rest whenever you're tired." Hae In oppa said.
"And it's worth it when you go there and see the view at the top." Manager Sunmi said.
She told us earlier that she had been here once and wanted to take us here. My members were excited and immediately agreed when manager Sunmi asked if we wanted to join her today. And I just came along because I know it will be hard for us to do it when we disband and have our own career next year.
My members already know that I will be the COO of YM Entertainment when we disband. I asked for permission first from Seulgi if I could tell it to my members, and he agreed.
He said that they would know it anyway, so I better tell it sooner before they sulk. And they were surprised after they found out who Seulgi's family was, except for Wendy, who already knew it before I did.
"Are we going to walk there?" Joy asked.
I looked ahead and saw a bridge of metal sheets over a gushing river.

"Yes. Many people have already walked there. Let's go." Manager Sunmi answered and began to walk there.
I looked at Seulgi and saw him busy taking pictures with his camera. He looked at me after. "Scared?" He asked softly. I nodded. "Worry not. I'm always behind you. I will not let anything happen to you." He smiled in assurance. "Let's go?"
"How I wish my boyfriend was here too so I wouldn't be jealous of what I'm seeing," Jennie said while looking at us and then at Jisoo and oppa, who were beside us. We laughed after she left us.
I sighed in relief when we finished walking across that bridge. From there, the trail turns into a rocky forest path.
