Chapter 63

Seulgi's POV
I took my phone out of my pocket when it rang repeatedly.

I answered the call with my eyes closed. "What?!" I asked in irritation because I woke up from my beautiful dream.

"What?!" The person on the other line mimicked what I said in an incredulous voice. The caller's voice sounds like Jisoo. "Yah, oppa. You said we will go to JiSeul at 7 a.m. It's already 7:08 a.m., and you're still not here. Don't you know that I woke up early today? And I would only know that you just woke up, and it's all thanks to me, huh?" She expressed irritatedly.

My eyes automatically opened when I remembered we were going to the restaurant today. "Oh, shit!" I mumbled and immediately sat up. I winced and held my head when it hurt. "I'm sorry. I forgot to set an alarm because I was drunk last night."

I took the medicine I saw on the bedside table and drank it because it looked like it was for me. I looked around and frowned as the room was unfamiliar to me.

She sighed, "I will forgive you if you arrive here at exactly 7:30 a.m." She said and hung up the call.

I immediately stood up and slid my phone into my pocket. I took my long-sleeved shirt that was on the bedside table and got out of an unfamiliar room while wearing my shirt.

I halted halfway down the stairs after remembering what had happened last night and where I was now. Why did you confess to her family?! You're crazy, Seulgi!

I quickly walked downstairs and went to the dining area when I didn't see anyone in the living room. I saw the Bae family eating there while they were talking.

Auntie was the first to notice me, "Oh, Gomi, you're awake. Come here, join us."

"I'm sorry, Auntie, but I'm in a hurry. I'm late for my appointment now. I just wanted to let you know that I'm leaving. Thank you for letting me stay here throughout the night." I said in a hurry and looked at Uncle Yong-joon after. "I have to go now, uncle," I said and bowed at them.

Uncle nodded, "Drive safely." He said and looked at Joohyuna. "Accompany him outside."

I saw Soo-bin and In-hyuk look at Joohyuna meaningfully, but she ignored it and was about to stand up, so I immediately spoke to stop her.

"It's okay, Miss Irene. No need to bother. I'm okay." I bowed at them again. "I got to go now. Thank you." I said and didn't wait for their response because when I glanced at my wristwatch, it was already 7:16 a.m.

After getting into my car, I quickly drove to Blackvelvet's dorm. I sighed in relief when I arrived at 7:29 a.m. I immediately messaged Jisoo to say I was already in front of their dorm.

"Okay, forgiven," Jisoo said after getting inside my car.

I laughed, "Thank you. Anyway, can I take a shower? I've been wearing these clothes since last night."

She looked at me in disbelief, "Seriously, oppa? It will take you less than 15 minutes even if you don't drive fast from your condo to here. What did you do that you didn't take a shower before coming here?"

I scratched my head, "I slept at Joohyuna's house, not in my condo."

Her eyes widened, "What?! How did you end up sleeping there?!"

"I'll tell you if you let me take a shower first," I said and wiggled my eyebrows.

"Unbelievable." She remarked while shaking her head. "Okay, fine. Let's go."

I smiled happily, "Thank you." I said and started to drive.

"So, how did you end up sleeping at Irene unnie's house? I thought you went to Auntie Sung-ryung's house?"

"It's because Joohyuna is Auntie's daughter. Even her boyfriend was there last night, but he went home, unlike me." I answered and chuckled.

"So, Irene unnie was the one that Auntie shipping to you?"

I glanced at her and saw her looked at me with a teasing smile. "No. It's her younger sister. She's the same age as I, and she's my friend in high school."

"Wow. Small world."

"And that's not all. Do you know attorney In-hyuk? YM Entertainment lawyer?"

"Yeah. What about him?"

"He is Joohyuna's brother."

"Really?!" She exclaimed and gasped. "Wait." I glanced at her again and saw her wide eyes as if she remembered something. "He knows what Bogum oppa did to you, right?" I nodded, "Do you think he said that to unnie?"

"I don't think he said that to Joohyuna."

"What if he already did?"

I shrugged, "Then, it means that Joohyuna really loves Bogum. Because she accepted him despite what he did."

"Do you think attorney In-hyuk likes Bogum oppa for unnie?"

"Joohyuna told me before that her brother and dad don't like Bogum anymore because of what he did to her."

"Oh, that's great! That will be your advantage to make them like you." She stated happily.

I laughed, "But Auntie and Joohyuna's sister like Bogum."

"It's okay. There is still a possibility that they will change their minds when they find out what Bogum oppa did to you, so tell them now."

"I can't. Joohyuna will be hurt."

"Unnie will know it sooner or later, oppa. And if she breaks up with Bogum oppa, tell her right away that you like her."

"Really, Jisoo? After she got brokenhearted, I'll go to her to confess?" I asked sarcastically.

"That's the perfect time, oppa. You might mend her broken heart."

"I wanted her to like me because she really has feelings for me, not like that."

"Then, win her family's heart first before confessing to her. You know, it's a big point if unnie's family wants you for her."

I sighed, "That's my problem, Jisoo. I told them that I liked Joohyuna when I was drunk last night. But I was glad Joohyuna accompanied Bogum outside their house that time so she and Bogum didn't hear that."

It's In-hyuk and Soo-bin's fault that I was drunk last night. They asked me about the kissing scene, which made me remember the time Joohyuna and Bogum kissed.

"Oh. What did they say after you confessed to them?"

"They were surprised, except In-hyuk, who I think knew that I like his sister. But I don't know if they want me for her or not because I fell asleep afterward."

"You should have waited and known first if they want you for Irene unnie before you went to sleep, oppa." I laughed when I glanced at her and saw her shaking her head disappointedly.

Even if I can do that, I'm afraid to know what they would say about me. They might not like me for her because of the difference in our life status.
