Chapter 69

Seulgi's POV
We only finished dancing for the Young Nation group at the Incheon K-pop Concert, and we quickly went to the dressing room to change outfits because Blackvelvet was the next to perform after the group that followed the Young Nation group.

The girls of the YM dance crew are already ready because, as I said before, only boys back up for the Young Nation group. Actually, we don't need to panic because we won't take more than a minute to change. We'd solely take off our long-sleeve T-shirts and put on our button-down long-sleeve polo, but we had to run to the dressing room because it was a bit far from the stage.

After we changed, someone spoke when we got backstage. "Nice abs, oppa." I looked at SinB, who said that and saw her looking at me.

The girls' polo shirts are buttoned, while the boys' are not, so our bodies are exposed.

I laughed. "Thanks," I said before drinking water.

"I also have a nice abs." Deukie hyung said and flexed his abs.

"Me too." Dony hyung said and copied his twin.

SinB rolled her eyes. "Okay, fine. You all have a nice body."

I just shook my head at them and sat on the chair to take a rest after I drank. I'm under the weather today but have to go here because the formation would be messed up without one of us, especially since I will be needed for Jisoo's part in one of their songs later.

Blackvelvet's first performance went well, and we, the dancers, exited after the song. We all got ready again as Blackvelvet began to perform their second song for this concert, and we just waited for the time to go on stage again.

The crowd loudly cheered when we went on stage again, maybe because of the fans of my team and the other team. I heard they also have fans because of their talent and looks.

I positioned myself as if I was proposing when Jisoo started singing her part because she would sit on my lap. I looked at her as she walked towards me, and I frowned when I saw her hand holding her top, which wasn't part of our steps.

I only found out when she sat on my lap that the tie on the neck of her backless halter crop top was untied, and if she took her hand off it, the crowd would see what they shouldn't.

She couldn't tie it because she was holding the mic with her other hand. So, I moved her hair over her shoulder to tie her crop top properly while acting like it was part of the dance. I also double-knotted it to make sure the tie doesn't come loose again.

After I tied it, Jisoo looked at me and put her hand on my nape, which is actually part of the dance steps. And when she finished her line, she stood before me and mouthed thank you to me. She quietly laughed when I just winked at her in response.

After a while, the dancers, including me, left the stage when the Blackvelvet song was about to end because that was part of the choreography.

"That's what you call professionalism." So-jin noona remarked when we were already backstage.

Hoshi nodded in agreement, "If I didn't know the choreography, I would think that was part of the steps." He said and raised his thump on me. I just smiled at him while buttoning my polo.

Yura noona clasped her hands. "Because of that, let's have lunch together to celebrate this concert!" My team agreed with what she said.

"I'm afraid I can't make it." They all looked at me when I said that.

"Why?" Minah noona asked in confusion.

I scratched my head. "I think I need to rest now."

I feel hot and sweaty at the same time, I also feel chilled, and my body aches too, maybe because we danced to four songs, two songs in the Young Nation group and also in Blackvelvet.

"Are you not feeling well, oppa?" Yerin asked in concern and gasped after she touched my forehead. "You're burning, oppa!"

Dony hyung also put his hand on my forehead. "You have a fever. Why didn't you tell us beforehand so we could send you home earlier and not let you dance?" He asked with a worried face.

"My condition was not that bad earlier. I thought it would be gone eventually." I answered.

So-jin noona touched my back. "You should change your clothes now. It's already soaked." She looked at the others. "Let's go, guys. Let's change now." She said and started to walk.

We followed So-jin noona but stopped when Jae-jin hyung halted because we were about to run into Redpink members with Sunmi noona and Dohwan hyung. I think they just finished watching Blackvelvet because they came from the side of the stage. We all bowed to them, who also returned the gesture to us.

"Bear!" Sunmi noona ran in my direction when she saw me and hugged me, so I hugged her back. "Oh my gosh! You're so hot!" She whispered-shouted after she pulled away from me.

I laughed, "I know that already, noona, but thank you. And you're also hot today." I said in a low voice and winked at her.

She hit my arm lightly with a worried face. "Yah."

I chuckled and brought my face close to her ear to whisper. "Don't worry, noona. I'm still fine." I looked at her again and smiled. "We gotta go now." I said and waved at her.

We were about to leave when Jae-jin hyung cleared his throat loudly, so we all looked at him, including the girl group. "Uhmm... Can..." He touched his nape like a shy kid before he took a deep breath. "Can I take a picture with you? I'm really your big fan." He asked the Redpink members politely.

I looked at them, and they all nodded at him. I just looked away when I noticed Joohyuna looking at me. Can you calm down, heart?!

"Sure. Why not?" Wendy answered with a smile.

"Yes!" Jae-jin hyung whispered-shouted and he looked at me. "Seulgi, I'm sorry for bothering you, but I know you're good at taking pictures. I don't trust others and don't want to waste this time. So, can you take a picture of us?" He spoke fast.

"Yah. You know he's not---" I cut off what Deukie hyung had to say.

"It's okay, hyung." I smiled at him as an assurance and looked at Jae-jin hyung. "Where's your phone, hyung?"

He immediately took his phone out of his pocket and gave it to me after he put it on camera. "Here."

I took it and looked for a good angle for their picture. "Okay. 1, 2... 3," I said before pressing the shutter button.
