Chapter 50

Wendy's POV
"Why did you let Seulgi in without my permission, Wendy?" Irene unnie asked me when she went to the living area after saying goodbye to Bogum oppa. "We've talked about it, haven't we? We have agreed that we will not let anyone in, not even our family or close to us, without the permission of our members. That's why I don't let Bogum in here because I know you won't agree especially that we don't let men in here."

She's right. We didn't let any man inside our dorm, not even Joy's boyfriend, Hyoseob oppa.

Dohwan oppa is the only one we let inside our dorm when he and Sunmi unnie buy groceries for us. But after he puts the groceries inside, he goes out right away because he knows we are uncomfortable when there is a man inside our dorm.

"But Seulgi oppa didn't stay here long, unnie. We even tried to invite him to watch movies after he talked to Wendy unnie in her room, but he refused." Unnie's eyebrows furrowed as if she didn't like what Joy said.

"And it wasn't Wendy unnie who brought Seulgi oppa here, unnie. It was Sunmi unnie. Actually, Wendy unnie was in her room when they came here." Yeri said.

"But rules are rules, girls," Unnie said firmly.

I scoffed in annoyance. "What do you want us to do then, unnie? To push him away like what you did to him?" I shook my head in disbelief. "I don't understand you, unnie," I said and went to my room.

A few minutes passed, and I was only lying on my bed when someone knocked on my door. I went to my door, and Irene unnie was the one I saw when I opened the door.

"Can we talk?" She asked. She looked calm now. I nodded and let her in before I closed the door. We went to my bed and sat on it. We were silent for a whole minute before she spoke. "I'm sorry about earlier and about last time. I let my emotions take over me."

I took a deep breath, "I'm sorry too for what I said to you, unnie. I just hurt for Seulgi. He has been through a lot, so I felt sorry for him."

"I know. I also feel guilty about how I talked to him earlier. I was just annoyed because I thought you broke the rules."

I raised my eyebrow, not convinced by what she said. "Are you really just annoyed, or are you also jealous when you saw me and Seulgi hug each other?" I asked and smirked.

I saw her expression earlier, and it was not a serious face but a jealous one. I also saw the pain in her eyes when Seulgi talked to her like a stranger earlier, even though that emotion quickly disappeared.

She frowned, "What are you talking about? It's better to say I don't want Bogum to get jealous. After all, he knows that the only man we're letting in here is Manager Dohwan. And that's actually my reason why I said that to Seulgi so that Bogum doesn't think things he shouldn't think."

That was the reason why I told Seulgi to text me if he got home safely. I'm worried that Bogum oppa might do something to him again because he saw Seulgi inside our dorm earlier.

"That was your other reason, but the main reason is you were jealous. Admit it, unnie. I know you." I said and gave her a teasing smile.

She glared at me. "Yah." She took my pillow and hit my head lightly, but I just laughed at her. "Why do you keep saying I'm jealous when I'm really not?" She asked in irritation and walked out of my room after.

I shook my head while looking at my door with a smile. When will you get out of the denial stage, unnie? Seulgi had already passed that stage.

Jisoo's POV
I walk to the managers' office to tell Hae In oppa that I'm going home. He was supposed to take me home, but Minkyu oppa, who was about to take Rosé to the dorm, asked me if I wanted to go with them because Hae In oppa was still doing something. And I agreed because I wanted to rest.

I already messaged Hae In oppa about it but decided to say it personally anyway. There might be a chance he didn't see my message or didn't have his phone with him because he didn't reply to me, and I also want to see him before I go home.

I stopped on my track before I could get to their office door because of what I saw. I was dumbfounded when I looked at Hae In oppa's cubicle. It's easy to see who's inside because their office is a glass wall.

I saw his girlfriend sitting at his table while he stood in front of her, and they were passionately kissing. They were brave enough to do that because they were the only ones there.

I felt a sting in my heart and couldn't stop my tears from falling while looking at them. But everything went black as someone covered my eyes and led me somewhere.

"You shouldn't look when it hurts." A man's voice said softly before removing his hand from me.

I looked at him, and it was Seulgi oppa. He looked at me with a worried look that made me cry again because I felt pity for myself. I placed my head on his chest because I didn't want him or someone to see me cry. And I felt his hand patting my back slowly like he was comforting me.

I sniffed and wiped my tears after minutes, "Can you... Can you take me somewhere?" I asked in a weak voice and pulled away from him.

"Sure." He answered and pressed the elevator button. I didn't notice that he brought me in front of an elevator.

I took my cap and shades in my bag and wore them. I always bring it, just in case I need it. I entered the elevator with my head down when it opened, and I felt Selgi oppa had also entered. We were silent inside the elevator until walking towards the parking area when someone called me.

"Jisoo unnie! Where are you going?" It's Rosé's voice.

I glanced at her and saw her inside the car as the window rolled down. She was looking at me in confusion.

I hesitated whether to answer her because she would know I cried because of my stuffy nose. So, I was glad when Seulgi oppa spoke. He must have noticed that I was hesitating.

"We're just going to hang out."

"Oh, can I come with you?" Rosé asked.

"I'm afraid that you can't. I'm the only one your unnie wants to be with tonight." He said and laughed.

Rosé laughed softly, "She wants it, or you want it?"

"Both." He answered and chuckled. "Anyway, we got to go now."

"Have you told Minkyu oppa about that? Tell him first. He just went to the restroom."

I saw from my peripheral vision that Seulgi oppa glanced at me. "Can you say it for us? We can't wait for him anymore because we want to be with each other now, just the two of us. And please also tell him that I would also take her home later. He doesn't need to worry because we will be careful."

I heard that Seulgi oppa and Minkyu oppa were friends in high school. Seulgi oppa even told Minkyu oppa that if he only knew Minkyu oppa was our chief manager, he would ask for his help to get our signature and not his cousin.

"Okay. Take care." I just nodded in response to what Rosé said.

"Thank you," Seulgi said. We started to walk again and stopped on his motor. "Is it okay for you to ride my motorcycle?"

I immediately nodded without hesitation. "Yeah." I just want to leave this place right away.

"Please remove your cap and shades for me." He softly said after he straddled his motor. After I removed it while still looking down, he gently put a helmet on my head and locked it before he helped me ride. He held my hands carefully and wrapped it around his waist. "Hold tightly." He said before he drove away.

And while we were on the road, my tears automatically fell from my eyes when I remembered the scene I saw earlier.
