Chapter 5

Seulgi's POV
"Oppa?!" She whispered-shouted.

I chuckled and gestured my hand to their album. "Can I get your sign now?"

She nodded after she recovered from her shock and signed the album. After that, she looked at me again. "What are you doing here?" She whispered to me.

"I don't want to miss your first fan signing event, baby," I whispered back. She pouted as if moved by what I said and was about to read the letter I gave her earlier when I spoke again. "And just read the letter later when you're already in your dorm."

She didn't listen to me and still opened the letter to read it. After a while, I sighed when I saw her misty-eyed.

"Hi, baby. I'm so happy that you already reached your dream. I witnessed the difficulty you faced just to be where you are now. So, I can tell that you deserve it. I'm always here for you, listening to your rants, problems, and happy moments of being an idol. Please remember that my shoulder is always ready if you need one to lean on and that I have your back. And keep in mind that you are such a precious person. So, don't believe what you hear from others about you that you know that is not true. I'm so proud of you, baby. I love you, my always and forever baby." That was what I wrote in the letter.

And because I know she won't listen to me, and that's how she'll react because she's a crybaby, I gave her a piece of paper before she started to cry.

She took it and read what was written there. "Don't cry, baby. If you do that, they might film me and search for me. Later on, they will know that I am one of the backup dancers in SG Entertainment because our team is a bit famous now. You know that, right? And I don't want to be famous just because of having a dating scandal. I mean, I don't want you to have a dating scandal. So don't cry, okay?"

Yeji softly laughed when she read it. She wiped the corner of her eyes before she looked at me. "Thank you for coming here, Mr. Rowoon. And I hope to see you again." She said and smiled at me.

I smiled back, "You're always welcome. I'm a huge fan of yours." I bowed at her before I proceeded to her other members. She returned the bow to me before she greeted the next fan that went to her.

Yeji's members were also surprised when they saw me because they knew about my relationship with her.

After I had their sign, I went on one of the chairs and sat again. I opened the page where Yeji signed in and smiled when I read what she wrote there.

To my Seulgi oppa,
Thank you for coming, oppa! I'll go to your condo once I'm already not busy. I love you!

My sweet baby. Later, the fan sign event ended, so I left the venue and went to the parking lot. I stopped in hyung's car and knocked on the driver's window.

He rolled down the window. "Is it already done?"

I nodded, "Yeah. Let's have a coffee now."

"Okay. Come in."

I shook my head. "Let's just convoy. I have my motor with me now." He just nodded and rolled up his window.

I went to my motor and rode on it. I wore my helmet after and drove behind hyung's car. After a while, we parked in the parking lot of our favorite café. We went inside and said our order to the counter. We just waited for it before we sat at one of the tables.

"How's you and Jimin noona, hyung?" I asked, referring to hyung's girlfriend.

"We're good. She's busy with their company, but we still find some time for each other. Sometimes she comes to the YM company to visit me, and vice versa."

I nodded, "How is it being a manager of a now-famous girl group?"

He sighed, "It's very tiring. I rarely slept because I needed to wake them up, cook for them, and drive them to the salon and their schedules. I also lost weight because I couldn't eat when they were on a diet. And I'm glad that I have a day off today. But they have a schedule tomorrow again, and so on. And instead of sleeping on my bed or visiting my girlfriend in their company, here I am talking to you."

I laughed, "I'm sorry, hyung. I just wanted to make sure that I can make it to Yeji's fan sign event today."

He chuckled, "Yeah, I understand. And it's been a long time since we met again." He shrugged nonchalantly. "So, it's fine. Anyway, how's being a dancer? Don't you really want to move to our agency? You know that I can join you in one of the groups of dance crew there."

I shook my head, "I'm happy where I'm now, hyung."

He looked at me with a teasing face. "Is it because of YOUR WOMAN?"

I groaned. I'm so tired of the three teasing me to Joohyuna. If Wendy is my girl bestfriend, he is my boy bestfriend. So, he knows everything about me.

"What's going on with you three today?" Hyung looked at me in confusion at what I mumbled. I waved my hand dismissively. "Nevertheless, where's my album of Blackvelvet with their sign?" I changed the topic.

He grimaced, "I'm afraid you will not pay for the album."

I sighed, "I told you before that I would pay for the album, right?" I gave him a teasing smile. "Or you're just afraid they might be curious about me?"

He frowned, "What are you talking about? If you wish to have their sign, then go to their fan sign event." He smirked after he said that.

I grimaced, "It's lottery-based, hyung."

He chuckled, "Just try it. You may be lucky."

"I don't want to try because I know I can't be selected. You know that my money is precious. I just find a way to have their sign." I grinned.

"Wish you luck," Hyung said before eating a spoonful of his cake.

I was drinking my coffee when my phone beeped. I took it and saw Sunmi noona's message.

"Bear, are you free this evening? I remember that you told me you would treat me, right?"

"Does the Redpink don't have a schedule this evening, noona?" I replied and sighed. I will be broke because of the people around me.

"Who's that?" Hyung asked when he heard my sigh.

"My friend. She's asking if I'm free this evening."

"Friendly date?" He smiled meaningfully.

I chuckled, "She just reminded me of what I told her before that I will treat her when she's free."

He frowned, "Why did you say that?"

"Because she sulked when I didn't tell her that Chaeyeon and I had a relationship before."

He chuckled, "You just ate her bait."

I sighed, "You know that my weakness is to see a woman gloomy."

He smiled and shook his head. "Oh, I almost forgot."

My phone beeped again, and I smiled when I read Sunmi noona's reply.

"I'm happy that they don't. Actually, they have dinner with Blackvelvet tonight. Didn't I tell you that they are friends with them?"

I think I found my way now to have Blackvelvet's signature. Thanks for the wish, hyung.
