Seulgi's POV
I woke up not feeling well and had a hangover the next morning. "Oh, shit!" I exclaimed while holding onto my head when I sat on my bed.

After a while, I decided to take a shower and prepare because I would go with Dad for his short walks. I still have time because my practice is still at 2 pm. So after I go to Dad, I will work at Auntie Hee-kyung's restaurant before our practice.

"Oh, Seulgi." Uncle Soo-geun acknowledged my presence after he opened the door.

"Good morning, uncle. Here, I bought a cake for you and your family." I said and smiled.

"You don't have to bother, but thanks for this." He said with a smile while taking it.

"You're always welcome, uncle. Anyway, is Dad still sleeping?"

Uncle shook his head. "He went out just a while ago to walk. I told him I would go with him, but he said he could manage himself and only follow him if he didn't come here for 30 minutes."

I cleared my throat and nodded, "Okay, uncle. I'll just look for him."

I was about to leave when my uncle stopped me and put his hand on my forehead. "You have a fever. Did you take your medicine?" He looked at me with a worried face.

"I didn't, but I'm okay, uncle. Don't worry. I got to go. I'm going to Dad."

He shook his head in disagreement. "Don't you think he wouldn't be worried if he saw you right now? He told me earlier he doesn't want to disturb you. So, he said he would walk every day even if he's alone, so you won't be bothered to come here every morning. Come inside first and eat to take your medicine."

"I'm really okay, uncle. I'll take one after I finish my work at your restaurant." I said and smiled at him with assurance.

Before he could stop me again, I immediately bowed to him and left him. I decided not to go to Dad but to Uncle's restaurant instead. I realized that I might only add to Dad's worries.

Wendy's POV
I and my members are waiting for our managers in the lobby of SG company. They are just talking to the agency, and after that, we are going to our next schedule for today.

We were only talking to each other when we heard Seulgi's voice. "Noona."

I looked at him when he passed by to where we were sitting. He was walking towards Miss IU, who was sitting in front of us but a little far from us. Seulgi didn't notice us when he passed by, and his back is facing us now.

Miss IU stood up and smacked Seulgi's head after Seulgi came closer.

"That looks painful," Yeri commented. I looked at my members and saw them also watching the two.

"Ouch! What's that for?" Seulgi said while rubbing his head.

Ms. IU raised her eyebrow. "For not listening earlier to Dad when you were at our house and for not listening to Mom when you were at our restaurant. They are worried sick about you, but you didn't listen to them. You're just going to take your medicine. You're not going to buy it." She said with a frown and sniffed after a while. "And you really have the gut to smoke, huh? I told you I don't like to smell you like that."

We didn't see Seulgi's reaction, but I assumed he was pouting now. "You can't blame me. You called me when I was doing my session on the rooftop. And I don't like medicine, noona."

"No. You're going to take one." Miss IU placed her hand on Seulgi's forehead. "Look, you still have a fever. Let's go to the cafeteria first to eat before you drink your medicine."

Seulgi sighed and scratched his head. "Did you just call me to scold me? I'm going to tell Auntie that you scolded your future boyfriend."

She rolled her eyes. "Go ahead. Mom knows her son-in-law is stubborn. Let's go. You're going to eat whether you like it or not." She held Seulgi's wrist and dragged him, who was whining.

He just stopped whining after he saw us. He stopped in front of us, so Miss IU also stopped.

"Hi there, beautiful ladies." Seulgi smiled at us and waved his hand.

"Are you okay, Seulgi oppa?" Joy asked.

"I'm good," Seulgi answered and smiled.

Miss IU looked at Seulgi. "Yah. I'll go first. Make sure you go there, or else I'll tell your sister that you're racing."

"Ahh, noona~" Seulgi whined, but Miss IU ignored him. We stood up and bowed to her, who also bowed to us before she left.

"Yah, Seulgi. Who is she?" I asked.

"You didn't work with her yet?" Seulgi answered with a question.

"We already did. What I mean is, what is your relationship with her? Are you wooing her? Is she your girlfriend or what? But you have a girlfriend, right?" I explained in confusion.

He chuckled, "Yeji and Ji-eun noona are both not my girlfriend. But they are both special to me."

"Then why did you lie to us that Yeji is your girlfriend, oppa?" Yeri asked with a frown.

Seulgi raised his eyebrows. "Did I say to you that she is my girlfriend?"

We think for a moment and realize that he didn't say that Yeji is his girlfriend.

"Then why didn't you make it clear to us that she's not your girlfriend?" Joy asked with her hands on her waist.

He laughed, "I was just enjoying it." He answered and cleared his throat afterward.

Seulgi was startled when Irene unnie suddenly placed her hand on Seulgi's neck after she stepped closer. "Yah. You have a fever. Why did you go here?" She asked after she removed her hand from Seulgi. I frowned and scrutinized him.

"I'm just hot, my woman. And I went here to see your beautiful face." Seulgi answered and winked at unnie.

Unnie flicked Seulgi's forehead. "Nonsense. Go, eat some food, and take your medicine." Unnie said and lightly pushed Seulgi to the way of the cafeteria.

Seulgi scratched his head while walking away. But when he was a few meters away from us, I decided to chase him and held his arm to stop him.

"After you pushed me away, you're going to stop me?" Seulgi said dramatically, but I knew he was just acting.

"Did something happen?" I asked worriedly, not minding what he said. "I remember you get sick whenever you're stressed. And don't you dare lie to me." I said because I noticed that there was something off with him.

He smiled with sadness in his eyes. "Dad wanted to give up." He sighed in frustration. "And I need to be okay and be strong for Dad now that he's weak."

I was shocked by what he said. But when I recovered, I hugged him and patted his back lightly. "I'm giving you my energy now. Cheer up, Seulgi! You can do it!" I pulled away from him and gave him an encouraging smile.

He smiled, "Thank you, my best friend."

I nodded with a smile, "Go now. Don't be stubborn, and take your medicine."

He groaned, "I'm so tired of hearing the word medicine today."

I just laughed at his complaints and watched him go away.
