Chapter 27

Seulgi's POV
"You will get there faster if you ride here. Don't be scared. I won't let anything happen to you." I said with a reassuring smile.

She sighed and nodded. "Okay." I carefully put the helmet on her and helped her to ride my motor. Good thing I always carry an extra helmet after my encounter with Blackvelvet. "Can I hold here?" She asked while holding both sides of my clothes.

I chuckled, "That's dangerous, my woman." I held her hands and put it around my waist. "Hold tightly, okay?"

"Okay."

I looked at Sunmi noona, who was smiling teasingly, and hyung, who was already standing beside noona with a smirk. What the hell is wrong with them?

I shook my head at their reaction. "We got to go now," I said. I pulled down my visor before driving away.

I drove fast towards Redpink dorm and just slowed down before we passed the speed camera. At first, I felt Joohyuna's arms hugging me tightly every time I was driving fast, but I think she had already gotten used to it just after minutes because I felt her grip loosen.

She quickly entered their dorm when we arrived in front of it, even though she looked dizzy. And after just an hour of driving back and forth, we arrived at the gas station where Sunmi noona and hyung were now.

Hyung glanced at his wristwatch before he looked at me. "That was fast. It usually takes almost an hour just from here to Seoul."

I removed my helmet and looked at him with a smug face. "I'm not a racer for no reason." Actually, that's not my fastest drive because Joohyuna is with me. I just drove enough time for us to reach the airport on time. I looked over my shoulder to see Joohyuna, who was still sitting and hugging me. "Are you okay, my woman?" I asked worriedly.

"Just give me a minute. I feel dizzy." She answered weakly.

"I'm sorry for driving that fast," I said softly.

"It's okay. I kinda enjoyed it, but I really feel dizzy after." I chuckled at what she said.

After a while, she pulled away from me. I helped her when she got down from my motor and removed the helmet for her.

"Let's go now, Irene unnie." Sunmi noona said and looked at me and hyung. "Thank you for your help. I'll treat you two next time."

Hyung shook his head, "You don't have to. I'm happy to help, especially for a manager like me." He said and looked at me. "Yah. Don't forget to think about our grandparents' offer."

I nodded, "Okay, hyung. I'll think about it."

"I got to go now." He said and handed me his car key

"Okay. Enjoy your date. And please be careful with my motor." I said while getting off my motor. I took the key from him and looked at Joohyuna after. "I'm sorry for messing your hair, my woman. Just fix it while you are in the car."

She smiled at me. "That's okay. Thank you for the ride."

"You're always welcome," I said and winked at her.

She laughed softly and looked at hyung. "Thank you for your help." She bowed.

Hyung also bowed. "No problem."

After that, we bid goodbye to hyung and parted ways with him.

Irene's POV
"Are you okay now, Irene unnie?" Manager Sunmi asked me after I finished fixing my hair.

"Just a little bit dizzy right now," I answered.

"Aren't you scared earlier while riding on Seulgi's motor?"

"I was just scared, at first, because that was my first time riding a motor. But even though Seulgi was driving fast, it was still cautious, so I felt at ease."

"Oh, really?" I nodded when she glanced at me. "I noticed earlier that you looked comfortable at Seulgi. Do you like him now?"

I coughed at manager Sunmi's question. I looked at her in disbelief. "Are you kidding me, manager Sunmi? I'm comfortable with Seulgi not because I like him but because he's my friend."

She shrugged, not convinced even what I said was true. "If you say so."

I was about to speak when manager Sunmi stopped the car because we were already at the airport. I went out when I saw that she got out.

The camera kept flashing as we walked inside the airport with bodyguards around us. After a while, I saw my members and managers waiting for us inside.

"I was glad you arrived on time, unnie," Wendy said after they saw us, and I just smiled at her in response.

"Let's go to the counter check-in for your luggage." Jaekyoon oppa said.

"I didn't know that you're a pro driver, Sunmi. You were able to go here on time." Manager Ah-ra said in amazement after completing the check-in procedure.

"I felt sorry earlier when you were the one who drove for Irene noona." Manager Dohwan said.

Manager Dohwan couldn't drive for me earlier because he had a stomach ache, but he looked okay now, while Jaekyoon oppa and Manager Ah-ra had to secure my members from the crowd.

"It's okay, Dohwan. And I'm still not a pro driver, unnie." Manager Sunmi laughed. "Actually, we faced a problem earlier. Because of hurrying, I forgot to check my gas, so I didn't realize it was near empty when Irene unnie and I left. So, we ran out of gas on our way to the dorm." She shared as we made our way to the appropriate gate, where each passenger undergoes a security check.

"Then, how did you manage to go here on time?" Jaekyoon oppa asked with confusion on his face.

"It's all thanks to Seulgi and his cousin. I was currently on a call with Seulgi when that happened. So they went there immediately to help us. Seulgi drove for Irene unnie, and his cousin pulled my car to the gas station."

"Seulgi is a pro driver, then." Manager Ah-ra commented.

"Yes, unnie. He is actually a motor racer." Wendy said proudly.

"Really? I joined the race motorcycle hill climb before when I was still not a manager. Maybe I'll invite him to do it with me if I have time. I missed doing it already." Jaekyoon oppa said with excitement in his voice.

"You were a former racer, oppa?! That was cool!" Joy said in amusement.

"I guessed you were cool back then, oppa," Yeri said.

Jaekyoon oppa nodded, "Yeah. You're right. I was and still am cool." We laughed at what he said after.
