Chapter 2

Seulgi's POV
"I called you because the sample dance that our dance crew created for the song of the AXE group was selected." Heechul hyung delightedly informed us while we were sitting inside our dressing room.

"Yes!" We all shouted in bliss because that meant we would get paid for the choreography we did.

"And because the Groovy dance crew is already known, I asked the agency for a higher amount, and they agreed. But we still need to teach the AXE group because they are still rookies." Heechul hyung added.

Sunyoung noona raised her hand. "Who will teach them, oppa?"

"Hyoyeon will teach them." Heechul hyung answered. "And also, the manager of Wawa Girls spoke to me earlier. He said Moonbyul requested the Groovy dance crew to be one of the backup dancers on her upcoming solo. So, practice the choreography first before practicing with her. That's all I need to tell you. Any questions?" We all shook our heads in answer. "Okay. You can take your lunch now. And remember to practice at 2 pm. Bye, guys."

"Bye, hyung/oppa." We said to him while waving our hands as he walked towards the door.

"Let's eat, guys!" Sooyoung noona said after hyung was gone, and we nodded in agreement. We all stood up and left the room.

"Oppa, your sister is sulking at me," Chaeyeon said while clinging to my arm.

I glanced at her while we walking in the hallway, "Why? Did you tease her again?"

"Of course, I didn't! She invited me to hang out yesterday, but I said no because I had a date."

I chuckled, "You're doomed. You know she won't take no for an answer unless it's acceptable."

"My reason is acceptable! Oppa and I rarely meet each other because of my busy schedule!" She whined.

"Yah, Chaeyeon-ah. You already have a boyfriend, but you are still clingy to Seulgi. Do you really like your boyfriend?" Hyoyeon noona butt into our conversation.

"What will I do, unnie? I'm used to doing this with Seulgi oppa." Chaeyeon pouted. "And I think it's fine because oppa is the one I like now." She's referring to her boyfriend, Lee Taeyong.

They have the same surname but have different clans, so it's okay. And yes, you can use the word oppa with your boyfriend.

"I disagreed with that. If I'm your boyfriend, I will kill Seulgi when I see you two like that." Wooyoung hyung commented.

"And I'm glad that you are not my boyfriend, oppa," Chaeyeon said, and we laughed at what she said.

"But seriously, I think your boyfriend will be jealous if he saw you like that with other men." Myungsoo hyung said.

"That's why I'm not doing it when he's around, oppa." Chaeyeon giggled.

"You shouldn't be doing that, Chaeyeon-ah. You might regret it later." I said.

"I won't, oppa." I just shook my head at Chaeyeon's stubbornness.

"Do you still like Seulgi, Chaeyeon?" Sunyoung noona asked with her teasing smile.

Chaeyeon laughed softly. "I don't. I'm just comfortable doing this with him."

Sunyoung noona glanced at me. "How about you, Seulgi? Do you still like her?" They know we had a relationship before because we were still together when we joined the dance crew.

I shook my head. "I already moved on, noona."

"Is that because of Irene unnie? YOUR WOMAN?" Chaeyeon asked me, emphasizing the last two words.

I laughed, "No. I only like her as an idol."

"If you just like her as an idol, then why are you calling her 'my woman?'" Sungkyu hyung asked, quoting with his two fingers.

I chuckled, "I just feel it suits her."

"Just say that you're flirty." Sooyoung noona commented after she looked up from Chaeyeon's phone that she borrowed when we were in our dressing room earlier. And I sighed when my team laughed at what she said.

"I'm not flirting with anyone." I defended myself, but Sooyoung noona just shrugged as if she didn't believe what I said and looked at Chaeyeon's phone when it beeped.

"Really, huh? But I still remember Chaeyeon was so jealous because you told us we were stunning, danced well, full of energy, and many more positive words when we first met you." Hyoyeon noona said.

I scratched my head, "I'm just complimenting you. It's not flirting."

"Then why do you only compliment women?" Junho hyung asked me.

"Because..." I trailed off. "I just want to. Hey, you're bullying me now!" I acted sulk, but they just laughed at me.

"Hey, guys! Seulgi's woman is over there!" Sooyoung noona whispered-shouted afterward and glanced in front of us.

We looked ahead and saw the members of Redpink with their managers at the other end of the hallway walking toward us.

I looked at Dohwan hyung, who looked feeble right now, and gave him a nod as a greeting when our eyes met. He also nodded at me and gave me a small smile. I didn't get a chance to greet him earlier because I was busy giving flowers to the Redpink group, and he left already when I was about to greet him.

"Bear!" Sunmi noona called me after she saw me.

I smiled at her. "Hi, noona. You looked resplendent today."

I heard my team laugh softly at what I said. "Not a flirt, huh?" I heard Chaeyeon mumbling after we stopped in front of them.

Sunmi noona flipped her hair. "Small thing. Anyway, where are you going?"

I used my index finger to point to our side where the exit was. "To the restaurant near here. You want to join us?"

"We can't. They're on a diet." Noona said while glancing at the Redpink group.

I scratched my head. "Oh, okay."

"Wait." Sunmi noona held the left backhand I used to scratch my head and brought it close to her face. After that, she grasped Chaeyeon's right backhand, who was now holding her phone, and brought it closer to her face too. She gasped and looked at Chaeyeon and me. "Are you two dating?!" She asked in astonishment. I think she saw Chaeyeon's tattoo after Chaeyeon reached for her phone when Sooyoung noona returned it to her.

Chaeyeon and I laughed, "We dated before." I answered.

She let go of our hands out of shock, "Really? Why didn't you mention that to me?" Noona asked me.

"Because you didn't ask me?" I answered in uncertainty.

She glared at me before she shook her head in disappointment. "I'm very open to you, but you... Tsk! You should treat me because of that!" She said in a sullen voice. I noticed that Wendy laughed softly, as if she knew that there was nothing I could do but do what Sunmi noona said.

I smiled and nodded at Sunmi noona, "Alright. If you're already not busy."

Noona smiled widely, "Okay! I'll just message you. Anyway, we have to go now. They still have a radio show."

"Okay, take care. Bye, guys." I waved to them, and they waved back with a smile. We separated ways after that. They went to the parking lot while we walked to the exit.

"I think Miss Irene doesn't like you, Seulgi. She looks fine even though she saw you and Chaeyeon like that." Junho hyung commented as we walked down the sidewalk to a nearby restaurant.

We laughed at what he said. "I think so too, hyung. And I'm not expecting her to like me."

"You have no plans to date her? I thought all fans wanted to date their idol?" Wooyoung hyung asked curiously.

I laughed. "If I do that, you might describe me as a womanizer because she's not the only idol I like."

Chaeyeon, who was next to me, nodded in agreement. "He's right. He likes many idols."
