Seulgi's POV
I got out of my car with two paper bags where Jisoo's and my gift were inside. I was going to use my motorbike, but I brought our gifts, so I decided to use my car instead.

I pressed the doorbell of the house Auntie told me was their house and waited for someone to come.

Just a few moments, the gate opened, and I saw Auntie with a wide smile. "Omo! I thought you weren't coming tonight!" She expressed before she hugged me.

I returned the hug, and we pulled away after. "I don't want to break my promise, Auntie. But I apologize for not being on time. My practice ended at 7 p.m., and I took a shower before coming here." I sincerely said because I arrived at 7:32 p.m., where the birthday party started at 5 p.m.

"It's okay. What matters is you come tonight. And I'm so excited to introduce you to my family!" Auntie said while leading the way inside their house.

"Is it okay to wear like this, Auntie? Or should I be dressed formally? I forgot to ask you what to wear when we last met." I said worriedly because their guests might be in formal attire.

I just wore button-down long-sleeved shirts and shorts. I'm also wearing a wristwatch that Jisoo gave me. She bought it the day we shopped for presents for Auntie's husband. She said it was an advance gift for my graduation, like what my grandparents did.

Auntie laughed softly. "Don't worry. You can wear anything you want here. And you looked more handsome in your outfit tonight."

I sighed in relief and smiled. "Thank you, Auntie." She just gave me a warm smile as a response.

We took our shoes off at the entryway and wore indoor slippers. "Welcome to our house," Auntie said after we entered their house.

I looked around inside their house. "You're really affluent, auntie," I commented while looking in amusement at their house's interior design.

Their house looks big on the outside, but it's bigger on the inside. It is also look elegant and fancy. No wonder she can afford to pay for my dad's hospital bill. But I think my grandparents' house is bigger than theirs.

Auntie just laughed at what I said. "Let's go to the dining area. My family is there." She walked again, and I just followed her.

"Where are your guests, Auntie?" I curiously asked because I hadn't seen a single one yet.

"Oh, they already left just before you arrived." She answered before she stopped at the entrance of the dining area. "Hey, guys! We have a special guest!" Auntie motioned for me to come to her. "Gomi is here!" She happily announced when I got to her side.

"Good evening, everyone," I said politely and bowed at them, not looking at their faces because of nervousness.

"So, you're the one my wife has been talking about for years." A baritone voice said.

I looked at the person who spoke, who was also looking at me with a smile on his face while sitting at the end of the table.

"That is my husband, Yong-joon," Auntie whispered to me and pulled me towards him.

I smiled at him after we stopped near him, and I bowed again. "Happy birthday, sir. Jisoo felt sorry because her manager didn't let her come here tonight for her security and the safety of her image. But she wants to give it to you as a present." I raised my right hand in front of him with Jisoo's gift to him. "And this is mine, sir." I extended my other hand with my gift for him. "Auntie told me you love red wine, sir, so I bought one," I added politely.

He happily accepted the gifts. "Wow. Cabernet Sauvignon. It's expensive, huh?" He commented after he took out the two wines from the paper bag. "Thank you for this. I appreciate it." He said with a smile before he placed it on the table.
